"This must be a fucking joke!" I growled, as Scales evaded an attack from the Electric Genesect. We were flying on the sky of New Tork City, battling an invasion of the five memebers of the Genesect Army- a pokemon specie that should have been extinct for over three hundred million years. "Fucking Team Plasma! Making things difficult for us even with them gone!"

What made things worse was the fact that Ash was not around to aid us. Hell, this things normally happen when he is around. What in Arceus name is happening? What is Arceus planning? Did he kept Ash on purpose? Why?

"Is that the famous Mewtwo you mentioned before?" Alder asked me, on his Braviary.

I followed his finger to a rare looking Mewtwo. It looked like some form of Mega Evolution, but how is it possible when Mewtwo does not have a trainer? Then again if there's a pokemon I would bet is capable of Mega Evolving on their own, it would be Mewtwo. This Mega Evolved Mewtwo was smaller and lighter, his eyes were now red and slightly larger. The digits on his hands and feet are now purple and more bulbous and the middle toe is longer than the others. He lost his long tail and the tube behind its neck. Though, he grew a long, purple appendage with a curled tip from the back of his head that is similar to his previous form's tail. On his head, he has two pointed, backward-curving spikes and a half-ring structure connecting to the base of each and crossing over the top of his head.

Despite his decreased size, his phenomenal mental power was still there. I could clearly see that when he easily blocked the Techno Blast from the shiny Genesect and restrained them with Psychic, before grabbing them and shooting up into the sky.

"Well, that makes it easier to take care of the rest," I commented.

"I'll take the Ice and Fire Genesect!" Alder told me, before commanding his Braviary to get closer to said pokemon.

"Then it seems that the Electric and Water Genesect are for us to deal with," I patted Scales head. "Scales! Use Twister!" Scales created a tornado by flapping his wings, though, the tornado was never meant to hit our opponents. It was only supposed to distract them, forcing them to go to separate ways, as one jumped left and the other right. "Thunderbolt and Rock Tomb!" Scales charged electricity in his antennae, then released a beam of yellow electricity at the Water Genesect. While, at the same time, he created a barrage of large boulders outlined in white energy that fell down onto the Electric Genesect. "That was quick," I commented with a frown. "The red one must have been the most powerful one," I deduced as Scales landed next to an equally surprised Alder.

"Still, to think that only these five pokemon were able to do so much damage," Alder shook his head, looking at the destroyed center of New Tork City.

Scales suddenly snapped his head up and flew up quickly. I looked up and noticed both, the red Genesect and Mewtwo, falling down. They were clearly knocked out and will die if they hit the ground from that alittude... taking New Tork City with them, with the impact. I quickly called out my other two Dragonite and had them follow Scales to save the falling pokemon. Alder's Braviary and Druddigon followed my pokemon. Between all five of them they were able to save the two pokemon without destroying what was left of the city.

"How does Ash do it?" I sighed. "Just one of these missions I am already exhausted."

"Not to mention, the property damage," Alder shook his head. "His missions never end with this much damage."

"We will discuss this later, we need to get better at this. If anything this situation proved that we can't always rely on Ash and we can't have our cities destroyed after every Legendary or prehistoric pokemon that comes out of the woods. We won't have any city left!" I exclaimed, before calming myself down. "For now, we need to find where we can put the Genesect Army without harming our environment."

"The Absentia Natural Park is one of the few places the Panna Lotuses still grow naturally," Alder informed me. "I have a friend that works there, Eric. He can help them get used to their new world and they can build another cacoon there."

So, that's what they did. As soon as they woke up, we got them to Eric, who presented them to the Absentia Natural Park. They were delighted with that place and the Water Genesect happily told me that they like their new home.

"Why did they stop fighting?" Alder asked Mewtwo, who had stayed instead of slimply flying away after his mission was done, as he usually does. "I mean, when they woke up before we told them we had found them a new home. I was expecting them to wake up swinging."

"I flew the Red Genesect all the way to the upper atmosphere," we both looked at Mewtwo stunned. They had left Earth?! "The Red Genesect was in awe of the planet, and I took the chance to explain that it is the planet where we were both born, that we exist for a reason, and that on this planet, we are all friends... a lesson an old friend of mine taught me." He looked sad when he said that. I was frozen where I stood when his sorrowful eyes locked with mine. "Tell The Chosen One that I am very sorry for what I and Mew did."

Before I could say anything, he took flight and left us behind.

Alder turned to me to ask me what Mewtwo meant with that, but we got interrupted by the paparazzi. I left my fellow Champion to deal with his region's news channels, before flying away on Scales. One my way to Kanto I decided to call Ash.

"Lance! Hi! How are you?" Ash asked me cheerfully.

"I just came from dealing with an attack on New Tork City," I answered him with a sigh. "So, I am quite tired."

"What do you mean that New Tork City is under attack?!" Ash shouted shocked.

"Was under attack," I corrected him. "Everything is ok now," I assured him. "But we met with Mewtow."

"One of the few Legendaries I have yet to meet," Ash replied, much calmer this time. I was very confused right now. "Is he as powerful as the reports say?"

"More," I replied, then paused. I considered what to do next. "Have you really never met him before?"

"I would remember that," Ash chuckled.

"Would you?" I replied suspiciously. "Because he is the most powerful Psychic-type pokemon out there."

"You believe he took my memories from me?" Ash asked me startled.

"Well, he told me to apologize to you because what he and Mew did to you," I told me.

"Apologize for what?" Ash sounded as confused as I felt.

"I have no idea," I admitted. "But we will find out. I promise you!"
