Outside Dragonspiral Tower, we met Professor Cedric Juniper's assistant -ha ha- Nick, who offered us a ride to meet the professor at the White Ruins. En route, he told us that the excavation team may have made a fantastic discovery, but won't say any more.
Discovery, right, I snickered internally. Good, everything was going as planned.
"Welcome!" Cedric greeted us with a beaming smile, as soon as we were inside the ruins. "Look at this!" He showed us a door covered in mysterious symbols. A door we had never seen before. Nope, never. I am not being sarcastic! I swear! Well... maybe a little bit. Cedric moved a few panels around, and the door opened. "That's the Light Stone!" Cedric awed in delight. "That's an item straight out of legend that is said to be Reshiram in a different form!"
"I kind of feel bad for him," Ash murmured to me. "We should be awestruck by this, but at the end of the day it is simply too comon for us."
"Let's blame Arceus," I chuckled. "It's all his fault."
"It is," Ash agreed with a smile. We sighed at the same time, as we watched the professor pick up the stone. It burst into flame in his hands, sending a bright blast of light straight up into the air and leaving him unharmed. "Come on! He might be excited, but rule number one of dealing with pokemon is to never touch anything you do not know. You might end up getting possessed! And that's not nice!"
I shivered at the memory of my trainer getting possessed by an evil spirit. Yes, not fun at all.
"Well, not everyone is used to getting involved with Legendaries," Lucario defended the professor, who was fanboying over the stone.
"You know, if it weren't for the fact that there are so many people out there that want to gain control of Legendaries I would totally write a memoire," Ash commented with a hum. "Teach everyone about all the idiotic things not to do when faced with a Legendary."
"We do know them all," I agreed with a snicker, recalling all of our adventures with Legendaries.
Our last adventure came to mind. Though, more than it being ours, it was N's and his meeting with Reshiram.
"Reshiram!" N gasped in stunned shock, as he saw the Legendary dragon his captor had been hunting for all his life. Though, it was not as mindblowing as watching Ash cuddle with Zekrom in one corner of the legendary White Ruins. At least, in N's eyes. Ash gets cuddles from the Legendary Bird Trio all the time back home in the Orange Islands. "It's truly you."
"You've met me before, little prophet," Reshiram commented. "I am glad you survived my rage. It was focused on those filthy criminals, rather than you. I apologize for getting you in the cross fire."
"Did he just apologize?" Ash asked in disbelief, as I watched in shock. "Did that just happen? A Legendary apologizing without being scolded?"
"Did you scold a Legendary?" Reshiram turned to us, it was his time to look at us in disbelief. "How are you even alive?"
"By now, I have no fucking idea," Ash shrugged uncaringly. "Maybe universal intervention? It needs The Savior to be alive."
"That makes sense," Zekrom agreed, cuddling even closer if that was possible- ignoring the scolding look Reshiram had sent him.
"I like these Legendaries," I told my trainer. "They are on third place after the Orange Islands's and the Alola Island's guardians."
"How many Legendaries have you met?" N turned to us, shocked.
"Well..." Ash counted mentaly, before shaking his head. "You know what, it would be faster to count those I have not met yet."
