Yukiko's P.O.V

I covered the small entrance into the cave I had found, using flint and steel to light a fire. I had gotten myself hopelessly lost in a patch of forest, and I couldn't find the trail for the life of me. It's been a week, but it's been testing my survival skills, which is good. I heard animals pass by the cave without a second thought.

I gently poked at the mushrooms, sniffing the air. These mushrooms looked tasty, but if I start to feel dizzy from the aroma I won't eat them. I heard the rock quickly move away from it's position, me quickly looking to see someone's shirt as they pulled me out of the cave.

"Hey! What are you-"

"That mushroom is extremely poisonous! Are you stupid?!" The man grabbed my shoulders. "I could smell it from a mile away! Which hand did you pick them with?!"

"This-?"

He grabbed my left hand and started cleaning it off with something that smelled funny, him sighing before wrapping my hand. I was paying attention to his ears and tail, having the urge to pet them. He made me look at him, him shining a light in my eye. He sighed.

"It's good I got to you in time. Just touching that mushroom can start to cause hallucinations, nausea, and, within an hour, death." He sighed. "How many of me are there? Do you see anything unusual?"

I grabbed his ear, him freezing. "They're real..."

"Yes, they are. At least you aren't delusional, that's good." He gently picked me up. "It wouldn't hurt to do some tests, just in case."

He took me under a canopy, making a small wound in my arm and taking the blood, putting it under a microscope. I sat patiently and looked around, humming softly to myself. He sighed and moved over to me, handing me a fruit.

"It doesn't seem like it's in your system, but it would be best to eat this, just in case."

I ate a bite, it having a sour-sweet taste. I watched him walk around, talking to a girl with pale green hair. I got up and tossed the fruit down, grabbing a hair band and tying back my long smoke grey hair. I looked back at him, my light pink eyes locking with his before I started walking off. I felt him grab my wrist.

"Surely you aren't going back to that cave."

"Well, yeah. I don't really have anywhere else to go." I sighed.

"So I treat you and you think I wouldn't let you stay here?" He sighed. "My name is Tighnari. Make yourself comfortable anywhere you see fit."

I looked at him. "I'm going to go get me some food."

"Surely you don't plan on going after mushrooms again without reading this?" He handed me a book.

"Thanks, but books are valuable. I have to retrieve my belongings." I grabbed a cloth and wrapped it around my face, placing down the book. "Thank you for the offer, though."

I started walking off, seeing smoke coming from the cave, me grabbing my bag, my vision clinking against my side. I put out the fire and took off the cloth, clearing out the cave before taking new wood and making a new fire. I leaned myself against the wall before grabbing my bow, slipping out of the cave. My outfit was greatly inspired by Ganyu's, who's morals and focus impress me. I didn't have the bell she had, and the white was replaced with black, but those were the only differences. I came from Liyue, so I looked up to her like an older sister.

I started climbing a tree, looking down below. I heard a branch above me snap, me quickly looking up to see Tighnari watching after me. I stood on the branch and glared at him.
