Ayanokoji pov:
It was silent. The only thing that could be heard was the rushing of wind and the chirping of insects. The moonlight shone in the centre of the clearing. I quickly began using total concentration breathing as grotesque demons emerged from the trees.

The thing was that I could only hear one set of footsteps. Coming from... behind me. I turned around and ran at full force into the fake army. Once I got close to the centre of the horde I breathed in.

"Wind breathing: third form: clean storm wind tree". I couldn't give the demon even a second of time. I unleashed a whirlwind of circular slashes around me. I tried to feel the sensation of my blade cutting through something but I simply couldnt. The wind around me violently picked up.

Of course the demons around were completely unaffected. This was going to get troublesome. With the speed I sore it moving at earlier I wouldn't be able to easily reach it before it could jump away. But maybe I could forcibly stop it but I needed to know if it wanted me dead here or was willing to let me go.

I sprinted into the forest where shadows covered me head to toe as the trees stopped the moonlight. I heard a flurry of footsteps from behind. I slowly slowed my pace allowing the demon to get in reach of me. I could tell it's exact position but that wasn't enough. I ran straight for one of the giant oak trees in my line of sight. I quickly cut straight through it. It was like cutting through a boulder and I had to use every last bit of strength I had to pierce it's tough exterior.

I could feel my stamina steadily draining. Keeping up total concentration breathing for so long was taking its toll. My lungs felt weak but I didn't have the option to stop yet. I heard the demon landing from a vicious jump it most likely had took before the tree Landed it was specifically to the south east of me. "Wind breathing: first form: dust whirlwind cutter" I spoke in my head as I darted behind me.

I had a rough idea where all the trees were. My vision was useless at the moment so I kept them shut. The wind created around me and the violent thrusts of my blade kept the demon away. I quickly got to the stump of the thick tree. Again I cut one line straight through it. The street didn't move for a second before it began to tumble over. I ran forward and past the tumbling log. I repeated this process twice creating a square around me and it. I also knew exactly how long the demon stayed in the air when it it jumped. I still had not seen it's real appearance.

I was using my ears to the fullest to pick up sounds. My eye sight would just confuse me so it was more of a hindrance than a help to me. Now that the demon was in an enclosed space the next part would come naturally. I completely let my guard down. I needed it to think I'm confused. I moved my head around almost like I was observing something which was obviously not true. Suddenly I heard the ground get tore apart. Infront of me. "Wind breathing: ninth form: Idaten typhoon" I back flipped in to the air. When the demon was below i released I a flurry of circular slices below me.

Finally I had gotten somewhere with this. I felt my blade slice through some of its flesh. I knew it wasn't the head but I now had a temporary blood trail. I heard it scream in agony as it jumped away. It slammed into one of the tree. The moment my foot touched the ground I rushed forwards. It was starting to panick and freak out. It didn't have a clue what to do I was a new type of opponent for it. Someone who didn't need there eyesight in order to end its pathetic existence.

Again without looking I sliced into it. I believe I slashed open its stomach. The scream was ear piercing. "LEAVE ME ALONE, I'm sorry for what I've done so please stop, I'll do anything" it quickly and weirdly suddenly began to grovel. Well I guess it wasn't to weird considering I had my blade to its throat.

"I guess there is one thing I want" I intentionally sounded like I was reluctant to ask.

"Ask me anything please just let me go" It started to have hope I could tell.

" ok then tell me about up..." my sentence was suddenly cut short as the sound of a gun firing rang throughout the forest. At the worst time possible genya had shown up.

A/N: hi this was a short chapter but I wanted to get something out.

I should have the follow up chapter out tommorow.

Do you think I should post less but have long chapters or post more but have shorter chapters?
