Genya was fairly light so it wasn't to difficult to carry him. It was honestly quite peaceful but I couldn't focus. I was getting closer to michikatsu. Soon I would find him. Then he'll explain to me the reason I was created. It doesn't matter who I have to crush in order to get there as long as I win in the end it truly doesn't matter.

As I walked through the Lightening clearing(the blowing wind and animal noises as the only thing I could hear) I spotted a silhouette in the distance. It was quite the oddity. I expected that someone after awhile would come to check this place out eventually due to the unfortunate commotion I had caused, but the shadowy figure was tiny the only thing recognisable was his blood red eyes, but that was only because of the moonlight being shone into to them.

From what I've heard and observed I didnt think parents let there nine years olds head into forests alone at night especially when multiple trees had fallen. He didn't shy away from my continued approach so I tried to ignore him for the most part. I needed to get genya to a medical facility as quickly as possible to get his remaining wounds checked out.

When I got in grabbing distance he shifted to the left, away from me. I simply ignored this. It was likely he let Curiosity get the better of him and checked this place out. Once I was a slight distance away he began to follow me. was it me specifically though ? When I turned around his eyes shifted to genyas new position. It was quite easy to see that he had made a connection to the dishevelled kid. It was better to let him continue follow, then add any unnecessary complications.

With that in mind I headed towards the town. On the edge of the forest, my movements were stopped my the flapping of wings. "KIYOTAKA AYANOKOJI IF YOU WISH TO FIND THE MEDICAL ATTENTION YOU SEEK HEAD TO BUTTERFLY MANSION, NORTH". It circled around me repeatedly, along with its speech.

I debated my options, here I could find quicker and more immediate medical attention in the village which was what I had wanted in the first place but that carried its own sets of risks. Especially due to genyas weird disposition. The core most likely had more knowledge on how to deal with such a phenomenon so it quickly became an obvious solution.

And when genya woke up he would be able to deal with the little stalker behind me. Eventually the crow thankfully left me alone. I walked along the the darkened alleyways and the outskirts of the town so I didn't look like a kidnapper. The kid suprisingly didn't complain nor even speak. Most kids were notorious for being curious little demons with no patience nor social awareness but he was very different. But I guess I'm the last one to talk, considering how I was at his age. I was exactly the same as him outwardly but the difference was in how people perceived us.

But that's a story for another day. Due to being completely side tracked I didn't notice the road change. It was unpaved now and had small circular stones across its surface. It was still night time but it was getting lighter by the second. Around he nature boomed. Trees of all kinds surrounded me along with tiny sphere like bushes. Eventually I crossed a wooden gate which led me into a gigantic garden.

If you put walls around it you could make a mansion out of it to. After awhile of searching for an entrance way into the gigantic building I found a pair of sliding doors. I silently walked to it. I was hoping that the core had already informed them of there new patients or this could get dangerous quickly. From what I knew there were a number of professional demon slayers and even one of the famed hashira that were so highly talked about here. Having to fight all of them due to confusion would not be so fun.

I slid the doors open. I instantly felt the cold touch of a thin blade against my throat in an obvious threat. Then quickly a second much larger sword was pointed towards my head. I couldn't stop myself from sighing, maybe I've should've just treated genyas wounds my self for the night then came here the next morning. At the very least I now knew that the hashira and there tsugako were quite the force to be reckoned with. I should take a personal note not to make one my enemy.
