We were still walking through the jungle Darius in the front then Brooklynn, Kenji, James, yasmina, Sammy, then lastly me and Ben in the back Suddenly Ben steps on a stick making him scream then everyone else but me scream.
"Sorry, I stepped on a twig" Ben admits
"Ugh, come on, man"
You done gave me a heart attack"
"I should step on you"
"It's okay, Ben. We're all on edge" Darius says
"And lost" Yasmina comments
"Yeah, we've been out here for a while now" Sammy agrees
"Maybe because it's a jungle, and a big one at that" I comment
"Darius, we sure we're still headed towards the park?" Sammy asks
"Well, we'd be sure if someone hadn't stolen and broken my phone, because it has a GPS, a compass app, and is also a phone!" Brooklynn says
"Sammy didn't steal your phone! No one stole your phone! Can we please stop talking about the phone?" Yasmina saids
"You guys! You guys, you guys, you guys, could you all yell at each other quieter, please?" Ben saids/asks
"My fellow campers, chill! What we need here is someone who can make the hard call—" Kenji saids
"So not you?" I ask earning a few laughs and a frown from Kenji "just trying to lighten the mood" I defend
"As I was saying, someone who can make the hard call on what to do next. Since I'm obviously—" Kenji saids
"No your not" I whisper loud enough for everyone to hear getting more laughs from everyone
"Can you stop that?" Kenji snaps
"No" I answer
"Since I'm obviously—" Kenji saids
"Not" I say
"Leadership material... I'll do this" Kenji continues
"He's gonna get us all killed" I mumble
"And my first decree as leader is for everyone to stop talking and just listen to Darius" Kenji saids
"One thing really quickly, you sound like a boss not a leader!" I comment
"What's the difference?" Kenji asks
"A leader pulls their weight a boss just tells everyone what to do and makes everyone pull the boss's weight" I replied
"Whatever" Kenji mumbles "anyway, which way Darius?"
"Please, you're just trying to cover up the fact that you're lost, too, Mr. VIP. None of us know where we are" Brooklynn says
"I know where we are! We're by the Carnotarus paddock!" Darius says "I thought this place looked familiar" Darius continued
"Am I an excellent leader or what?" Kenji asks
"Technically, Darius is acting like a leader" I say as we follow after Darius
"I remember the fence. The broken, ripped-down fence" Darius says
"That doesn't seem right" I say "ow" I mumbled as James hits the back of my head
"No, it's supposed to be broken" James saids sarcastically
