i look back
on all our conversations
the sneaky chats in between
and damn,
all those letters exchanged
between you and me
i read and re-read and re-re-read
all our texts
all those pictures that you send
and all those songs that you sing
your words
that are constantly on repeat
in my mind
like a broken record
going on and on and on.
i look back
on every single thing
related to you.
that's all i can do now
when you say things like this
over text
over voice notes
over phone calls
in the middle of the night
in the middle of the day
when i'm not expecting anything
things
that make my heart race
and render me speechless.
