and i smiled.
and the sun
and the moon
and the planets
and the stars
and all those heavenly bodies
that exist
up above
called upon me
to tone it down
because my smile was blinding
and oh,
how were others supposed
to admire them
when my smile
the happiness
radiating off of me
outshone their beauty?
but i wasn't listening
for she said yes.
