Seher's POV
"Jade, come on, hurry up..." I yelled walking out of my room after freshening up and changing out of my work clothes.
"We are going for dinner not for breakfast" I added walking into the kitchen and pouring myself a glass of water.
"Jade..." I called out, placing the glass back on the kitchen counter after taking a few sips, while frowning in confusion as there was pin drop silence in the entire apartment.
Wait! What's going on?
Is she even home? My subconscious asked as I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the silly question.
Duh! Of course she's home, I met her when I got back from the hospital earlier.
But wait, did she fell asleep or something?
Honestly I won't be surprised if she has fallen asleep because as far as I know Jade, she can be pretty much unpredictable sometimes.
Or maybe she has just forgotten about our dinner and is probably making one of those stupid reels in her room.
And where is Mason? Anyways?
Has he also forgotten about our dinner?
A dinner that we had planned since days now.
Shaking my head, I walked towards Jade's room.
"Jade..." I called out, softly knocking on the door of her bedroom.
Wait. What are those weird noises?
"Jade..." I called out yet again and sighed in frustration upon not getting any response.
So instead of knocking for the third time, I barged into her room, as the door was unlocked.
I know, you must be thinking 'how mannerless she is'...but I'm just being a good friend.
Like what if she's dead or something?
"Oh my god!" I exclaimed, quickly turning around as I walked in on Jade and Mason making out.
Ew! What the hell did I just witness?!
"Seher!" Jade exclaimed in a complaining tone.
"Oh Hey, Seher" Mason greeted awkwardly.
"Jade, Mason, couldn't you guys at least lock the door" I said with my back still facing them.
"Seher, you should have knocked" Jade replied.
"I did, a couple of time, but you were too busy to listen anything" I said.
"And I didn't even know Mason was home already" I added with a shrug.
"That's alright, Seher you can turn around now" Mason said.
"Yeah I promise we are in a much more appropriate position now" Jade said chuckling.
"Actually, I'm just gonna go" I replied while shaking my head.
"Seher wait, we are ready for dinner, just give me five minutes and I'll be out" Jade said.
"Alright, even though I think I just lost my appetite after witnessing what I just witnessed" I replied while walking out as I heard Jade and Mason chuckle at my words.
Like seriously, right now I would much rather order take out and stay home watching some silly, unrealistic shows or movies.
Anyways, Jade and I have been friends since almost four years now, we first met when we were in our first year of medical school and even though we were from different streams, we still used to hang out together as and when we had free time.
