Seher's POV

As we all sat in our dinning room, having dinner, or rather should I say that everybody else was having dinner, except me, I was just playing with the food in my plate, I couldn't help but think about Arjun.

His personality was so confusing. I had so many questions clouding up in my head, questions that only Arjun could answer, but I'm not so sure that he would ever answer them because firstly I'm not quite certain that we would ever meet again and even if we do decide to meet again, I know he wouldn't ease my curiosity because in the few hours that I have known him, I can tell that he is a private kinda man.

But if you ask me that if I would like to meet him again and get to know him better, then I would say...yes, I would like to see him again. His persona has intrigued me and even though he may have seemed to have a confusing and mysterious personality, but yet I found him to be the perfect gentleman...a quality that I would like my life partner to have.

I couldn't help but keep wondering that why wouldn't he enter the Gurdwara? Doesn't he believe in God? Or is it something else?

Something else as in...? Yeah maybe he is actually a vampire! Just like you asked him, my subconscious said mockingly.

Oh God! Please no!

Please don't remind me of that stupid question of mine. I'm already dying of embarrassment inside.

Ugh! What must Arjun be thinking about me? After hearing that stupid question?

A well educated young woman like me, a goddamm psychiatrist for crying out loud, asked him if he was a vampire...just because he wasn't willing to enter the Gurdwara.

Oh dear lord!

Please help me forget that idiotic incident.

"Seher..." I snapped out of my thoughts hearing my father's voice.

"Princess, we have been talking to you since a while now..." He paused as I looked up at him from my plate.

"But you seemed to be lost in your thoughts" He continued.

"What were you thinking? Is something bothering you?" He asked, concerned.

"No, Papa...just work related stuff" I lied as he just nodded his head, looking convinced.

"What were you all saying anyways?" I asked before finally beginning to eat my food.

"Oh, we were discussing about your wedding" Vikrant replied.

"My wedding?" I mumbled a question, surprised.

"I haven't even selected a boy yet" I said shaking my head. Seems like they are way too enthusiastic to get me married.

"What? Didn't you like Arjun?" My father asked, surprised.

"Papa, why are you even so certain that I would have liked him? I mean we have just met once" I replied.

"Yeah, Papa was so sure that it would be a big yes for Arjun" Vikram said with a slight chuckle.

"Yes, Amar, how can you be so sure about this guy?" My mother asked.

"I don't know...I just feel like he would be the perfect match for my princess" My father replied with a slight shrug.

"I mean he comes from a well known and reputated family...they are far more wealthier than us and he has got a reputation to hold, so I know he would never hurt my daughter, never do any such thing that would ruin his family name" He added.

"Yeah, the name Malhotra says it all" Viraj said.

"This marriage would even be beneficial for our business" He added.
