Seher's POV

"Yes, Papa" I said answering the call.

"Seher, do you remember the Malhotra guy I was talking about last week?" He asked.

"Yes, Papa, I do remember him" I replied with a sigh, knowing where this conversation was heading.

I do remember him and I have also figured out that the guy who just stormed out of my cabin, whom I assumed to be my patient Mr. Vivek Malhotra, was actually none other than Arjun Malhotra, the guy my father wanted me to meet, himself.

"Good then, Arjun is in town right now. I didn't know when you would get off work, so I have sent his father, the address of the hospital you work at..." My father paused.

"So Arjun might be coming to meet you anytime now, I hope you are free?" My father asked.

Great work Papa! I thought sarcastically while holding back the urge to roll my eyes.

"Yeah, Papa, I'm free today" I replied.

"Okay, Princess, all the best" He said before hanging up.

All the best?

I shook my head before rushing out of my cabin after grabbing my stuff.

I should meet Arjun as soon as possible and clear this misunderstanding. I need to apologise to him for the questions I asked him, thinking that he was my patient, and I know they might have seemed weird to him because he just walked in here thinking that he was just meeting some girl for the purpose of marriage.

I need to make this right. I need to fix this right now...

"Dr. Rajput. Where are you running off like that?" Veena asked as I passed by the reception.

"To meet Arjun" I replied shortly as she gave me a confused look.

"But who's Arjun?" I heard her question, but her voice faded away slowly as I was already out of the hospital.

I looked around at my surroundings, searching for Arjun, hoping he was still here so I could talk to him.

"Where are you?" I mumbled to myself as I looked at the busy streets of Amritsar. This area was especially busy most of the times since there was a Gurdwara just a few steps away, across the street.

And as if God just heard my prayers, I spotted Arjun standing near the Gurdwara, leaning against his car while clearly snapping at somebody over the phone.

"Mr. Malhotra..." I called out when I saw that he was about to get in his car while I was crossing the road.

I watched him as he glanced around once he heard my voice but he couldn't spot me.

"Mr. Malhotra..." I said walking towards him.

"Miss. Rajput" He mumbled acknowledging my presence.

"What is it now?" He asked.

"Do you have another set of questions for me?" He added as I unknowingly bit my lower lip, embarrassed.

"I'm so sorry for whatever happened a few minutes back in my cabin..." I paused while trying to catch my breath.

"I assumed that you were my patient, Mr. Vivek Malhotra and even my father didn't inform me about your arrival so..." I trailed off with a slight shrug as he just nodded his head.

"I should apologise too for telling you that you needed a psychiatrist..." Arjun said as I just shook my head.

"No, please don't, it's completely fine" I said interrupting him.
