A simple truth that everyone knows, we all want to be happy, and for us, happiness is almost a big goal in life. However, there is one thing that few of us know: happiness is not at all and cannot be a goal. You will never reach happiness, get it, or hold it, because it simply does not exist outside of yourself.

Life and happiness are sometimes as simple as that. But at many a times, we seem to be able to find reasons to feel unhappy.

"Happiness is a state of contentment, when one's every need is fulfilled in the most optimal, perfect way. This state is called homeostasis in nature." Well dressed in a midnight blue skirt and white shirt, the homeroom teacher of grade 11, class B, put her psychology book down to look at her class of 25.

Class B had the lowest attendance percentile, not to mention that there students were more or less a bunch of jerks. Unruly hair, untidy uniforms and an absolutely repulsive attitude with sticks of cigarettes always lingering on their lips.

Nobody was an exception in that class. In spite of that, the poor teacher tried her very best to gain attention to the topic.

"What do you think, what is happiness?" Curling the cuffs of her shirt, she heaved a deep breath to control her frustration. Her lips had been drawn into a thin line, fighting with her inner demons.

"What do you want us to answer?" A boy, puffing smoke rings at her, got up from his seat and flashed a sly smirking look on the woman.

"I... I want you to describe... What you view happiness as." Her voice shook and her eyes incessantly looked up and down the boy, hovering near her torso.

"To me... Happiness is something that I get from watching my friends smile. Happiness is like riding a bike under the blanket of heavy downpour like screaming the name of my girlfriend and enlightening the whole class." The class burst into flames of laughter. The answer came out more appropriate than what the lady had imagined it to be, gaining a timid curl on her lips.

"That... That's great of an answer, Yong-ho."

"Although, I believe this was a question meant for Soobin Choi in class A. The boy's never not happy. I'll call him in!" Yong-ho disposed his cigarette and scurried through the hall to get to class A, Soobin's section.

Class A and class B had a difference of heaven and hell. However neither had students any less annoying, class A's overall attendance, average score and attitude was the best throughout the entire school.

"Aye, Choi!" Opening the door of Class A shamelessly, Yong-ho called out to Soobin, who was having a break time.

"Yeh? What?" Soobin greeted the former with a smile as bright as his personality. Yong-ho couldn't help but smile back at him. There was obviously something different about Soobin.
