Our emotions change from moment to moment and bring with them a cascade of moods, feelings, and thought patterns-many of which increase our unhappiness and some of which are self-destructive.

The problem with feelings is: they change. With the unpleasant feelings, we want them to change and we become happy when they disappear. But then this happy feeling changes as well and we become upset because the happy feeling disappeared. We don't see that these feelings are part of the same mechanism, swinging backward and forward.

When we become free of attachments, emotions flow.

And it is that attachment that holds us back and keeps us going. If an attachment breaks, it is that suffering that no humanly powers can define or calculate.

"Mr. Yeonjun, are you feeling any better?" Removing the cold, ice pack from his pale and creased forehead, the med student asked him gently.

"Mmm... Y-eah, maybe. What... Happened here?" He uttered, his voice dry and trembling. His parched lips separated, groaning a low pitch cry as he fought to sit up.

"It's okay, nothing much happened to you. Your body experienced a stressful event, stimulating a bodily reflex called the vasovagal reaction. The heart slows down and pumps less blood, blood pressure drops. Then the brain doesn't get enough oxygenated blood, and the person faints. May I ask, do you experience regular instances of anxiety?" She took her logbook out, clicking the lever of her pen to write down the history of the patient.

"No, I usually do not. Why do you ask?"

"Nothing, really. If you could retaliate the incident clearly to note down, I could get a patient history for my year end portfolio, no matter how simple it is."

"I see."

"Yes, so... If you do not get regular instances of anxiety, do you perhaps, remember the reason why your body might have felt a sudden emotional strain? Or something that you saw, maybe heard?"

"Hmm... I... Do have a reason I believe to be the causative agent but before I mention that, is your brother here, Eunhye?"

"Yep, he is. Outside, I guess. Should I call him?" Eunhye tilted her head, smiling just the way Soobin did whenever the kid had a request, a whimsical caprice.

Mayhaps every younger sibling had the same approach, the same gesture of goodwill.

With one nod from Yeonjun's side, Eunhye shot up on her feet, running in the direction of the door. Eunseok had been asleep, sat back on the cold corridor. It was nearly two in the midnight when he was woken up by a blood stricken nightmare, sweating like a hooker in a church. His eyes were flashed with the sight of the grinding of the white hot object deep into that poriferous chest. The huss of the broiling flesh rang like an agonising melody, sang in acapella with a terrific laughter.
