Motivation is the desire to act in service of a goal. It's the crucial element in setting and attaining our objectives

People often have multiple motives for engaging in any one behavior. Motivation might be extrinsic, whereby a person is inspired by outside forces-other people or rewards. Motivation can also be intrinsic, whereby the inspiration comes from within-the desire to improve at a certain activity. Intrinsic motivation tends to push people more forcefully, and the accomplishments are more fulfilling.

It might also be his motivation to survive that had kept Eunseok alive. Eunhye had exhaled a profound breath of peace and assurance when the concerned nurse that morning had wrapped her corpulent arms around Eunhye's upper torso in utter excitement, informing the later how Eunseok's pulse rate had stabilized and the doctors had a new urge of hope of saving him. The nurse's happiness was over the board. After all, it IS a MIRACLE to save someone in his condition.

She had pushed Eunhye to the critical care unit. In her words, if someone very dear to a patient is near, sometimes it's the psychology and the support that can help the patient convalesce better, if not faster.

Entering the room gives Eunhye a dose of panick. She just fears being alone and without Eunseok, she would be alone. In fact, a part of her own self would be erased from existence.

"Oppa, heard that you're better. Be better. Don't leave me alone. I hate being alone!"

"How'd you spend last night without me if you hate being alone?"

"I stayed at Yeonjun's. He was alone as well."

"Yeonjun? My friend?"

"Yes! Yes, him. He took good care of me. You can't see this dress but it's his mother's. I didn't take my clothes with myself to his house. He lent me this. Isn't it so beautiful?"

"Yes. Yes, it is. His fashion sense is inherited, I see."

"Haha, must be. Let me tell you something, oppa. I hate his girlfriend. Such a meanie!"

"Eh, don't hate on people! You'll not be different from them. You know, protect the boy at all cost as long as I can't. He's precious."

"I will."

"Who are you speaking to?" Yeonjun entered the room as he interrupted Eunhye's chain of thoughts. Yeonjun shrugged the thought of her talking to herself alone. That's not weird to him, he was speaking to himself in the car a while ago. He was confused only because he thought that his friend might be well enough to mumble rubbish, now that his sister kept murmuring next to him.

That wasn't exactly the case.

There was no boundaries between her brother and herself. They spoke to eachother more than they spoke to anyone else. And all her feelings, her thoughts, her tantrums and also her secrets ,remained enclosed only to Eunseok.
