From the dungeons of hell"

In Buddhist teachings, there are three kinds of sufferings, or "dukkha" (in Sanskrit and Pali). The first kind is physical and mental pain from the inevitable stresses of life like old age, sickness, and death.

The second is the distress we feel as a result of impermanence and change, such as the pain of failing to get what we want and of losing what we hold dear.

The third kind of dukkh, however, is a kind of existential suffering, the angst of being human, of living a conditioned existence and being subjected to rebirth.

At the root of all kinds of dukkha, is craving, or attachment. We go through life grasping at or clinging to what we think will gratify us and avoiding what we dislike. The very idea of grasping, or clinging, or avoidance is the source of dukkha. We are drowning people who reach for something floating by to save us, then discover that what we’ve latched onto provides only momentary relief, or temporary satisfaction. What we desire is never enough and never lasts.

But the same teachings also retell that, desperation and desire is what separates human and God.

"Jagi! What you doing here?" Yeonjun turned to face the very familiar voice, of his roommate's fancy cousin.

"Uh... Hi! Nothing, love. I... Came to meet umm..."

"Anyways, can you hold the camera for me? Imma make a reel."

"Babe, but-"

"C'mon, giddy up. Hold it. No, upside down. Yeah, cool. Right, a little tilted. Not that much. Yeah. Good." Yi Young started dancing along the music, dictating the camera angles every now and then.

The dry air of November was chilly. The sun shone brightly overhead, nonetheless, the cold was barely affected. Yeonjun was shivering even in a tight fitted jacket but his girlfriend, Yi Young, couldn't care less about being the influencer. This wasn't making her any profits but at the cost of Yeonjun's time.

"Hey, let's go... Wait. Umm, okay!" Science has always defined women to be quicker at making decisions and Eunhye was no exception to that. It was not so helpful to turn about on her tracks and escape the site, when she could have interrupted the process of making an influencer, but the best possible decision.

Without Yeonjun, Eunhye had no idea about who exactly Soobin was. Some kid, he shouldn't be hard to find, she thought. However, it's not uncanny to find only "kids" in a school. And looking for someone with a generic Korean name in a Korean school without any facial identity, is like looking for a gold thread in a sack of hay.

Not thinking anything further, she approached the office. From what she had heard her brother say, Yeonjun was also an alumnus of Gwangbu International School. Although, that wasn't of any such use.
