Vegeta x Goku x Reader: Trapped in the Middle

I Think I have Control

A few weeks had passed since that day. Vegeta constantly anticipated going, hoping to see you again, but he had no luck. Meanwhile you knew you were going to have to see him soon to sort out your feelings once and for all. You wanted to put Vegeta in your past and focus on Goku.

Over the past weeks, Goku was able to help you get control of going Super Saiyan. At first, your emotions would go wild, and he would have to calm you down by holding you until you stopped crying. You went through this roller coaster of emotions repeatedly; you desperately wanted to get control of at least this. You wanted to be able to master this part of your emotions, the part you can control while you're awake. You pushed yourself hard and you got the hang of it, you were so grateful to Goku for helping you get to this point. Your walls slowly came down more and more with him; you were comfortable around him, constantly hanging around one another, you two would take turns and sleep in one another's rooms. He wanted constantly to be by your side especially when you slept since you would fall into those horrible nightmares. He had hoped the nightmares would get better and less frequent the closer you two got but they didn't, you would have them every night, waking up in the middle of the night sometimes crying hysterically, he would just wake up and hold you rocking you back and forth until you would fall asleep in his arms.

Last night it took you a long time to calm down, so you two slept in this morning. When you guys finally got up it was around noon, you two ate and started warming up to begin training as you always did.

"Ok so today I want you to really focus and let's work on your speed in your third form, you have tremendous power, but you need to be faster."

You shook your head up and down yes. You planted yourself firmly and focused all your energy all your pain and trauma into the center of your back. You screamed aloud and turned Super Saiyan 3 instantly.

"Ok good, now raise your energy as high as you can make it go, focus Y/N, and don't let it overtake you, control it ok, control it."

You again shook your head yes and closed your eyes letting your emotions and pain fill you up, just before you were about to lose control you pushed those feelings into more energy. It grew and grew and grew, Goku could feel your energy rising.

"Good Y/N, now come and attack me, think fast...be fast," he said as he transformed into Super Saiyan 3.

You came at him as fast as you could, you noticed that you were faster than you were before. Goku was still able to evade your attacks easily though. He stopped "This is better, but I need you to be faster, can you be faster for me Y/N?"

You looked at him, "he looks so amazing in this form... shit no focus Y/N, you need to be faster...faster...faster..." you said to yourself.

"I can do it, I can be faster for you," you said determined.

Goku smiled "Ok then come get me" he said as he pulled you in and gave you a kiss on your forehead, and then zipped off into the skies.

You smiled at this gesture and took off after him, your flying skills were amazing, you were just barely trailing him. With a last push you came up beside him, Goku grabbed you, twirled you around and sent you hurdling down towards a patch of land. You caught yourself and let yourself land gently onto the ground, you sensed Goku coming in hot and moved instantly as he came crashing into the spot you were just in. You sent ki blasts towards him right away, pushing off the ground coming at him full force trying to land a punch. You were much closer than before, only missing him by a few centimeters.

"Yes, better so much better. Now push yourself you're almost their Y/N, you can do it!" he yelled out to you while avoiding your punches.

You flipped backwards and let more feelings in, more emotions, more...pain. You were dangerously close to going off the edge, but you had enough control to stop yourself from spiraling. Your energy raised higher, your glow grew more, you felt...lighter, yet still just as powerful as before.
