As soon as you got back you quickly jumped into the shower. An hour later you were finishing up getting ready when Bulma knocked on your door.

"Sweetie it's me! Can I come in?"

"Yes!"

As she walked in you were straightening your dress.

"Wow you look hot"

"W-what no I don't"

"Ha sweetie, yes you do, you look really good is it for the hunk of a guy who is waiting for you downstairs?"

You laughed, "Well yes and no, I have to make sure to keep him impressed with me so I that I can keep getting the good jobs he's been getting me."

"Are you making good money?"

"Yeah, I am thank goodness"

"Did you need money for a specific reason? You know I would gladly give you money if you needed it"

"I know, and I appreciate that I really do, but I want to be able to make my own money. And no, I don't need it for anything specific, just want to buy clothes and things I want is all."

"Mm, ok well I came up here to tell you your hot boss is here so don't keep him waiting too long"

"I won't I'll be down right now, thanks Bulma"

As soon as Bulma left your room you sat on your bed for a quick second checking your bank account on your phone. "I'll have enough soon, just a few more weeks..." you said to yourself.

You walked down to meet with your boss.

"Well, hello beautiful you ready to go?"

You smiled, "Yeah I am"

As you were walking out to his car, Vegeta and Goku were flying back to Bulmas and saw you overhead.

"What the hell" Vegeta said.

"What?" Goku asked.

"Look you idiot!" Vegeta said pointing down to you. You were walking to this man's car, and he had his arm wrapped around your shoulder.

"What the hell!" Goku said.

"I'm gonna..." Vegeta started to say as he began to dart down, but Goku stopped him.

"Vegeta you can't she's...she's not yours and we don't now who that man is, let's not jump to conclusions right away ok?"

"Fine" he said angrily.

As soon as they got to the house, they quickly asked Bulma who the man was.

"Oh, the guy Y/N was walking with, he is her boss"

"Ugh see Vegeta, you got all worked up for nothing"

"Hmm, he was just so close with her, closer than we are with her haven't you noticed she' been distant?"

"Yeah, I did notice that lately, I just figure you know she must be going through a lot mentally and emotionally. She needs time to adjust." Bulma said.

"How much time" Goku asked.

"As much time as it takes to adjust to being dead for fifty years as the world continued to go on without you" Bulma said with a sharp tongue.

"Ha sorry Bulma, you're right I shouldn't be so insensitive. Just she did seem close to him though"

"Well, he is her boss, and she's been working with him for a few months now so that's probably why."

"I guess so, whatever then. I'll be going see you tomorrow Kakarot"

"Yeah, see ya Vegeta. So, Bulma what's for dinner?"
