Vegeta x Goku x Reader: Trapped in the Middle

Moving On

It had been a week since then and you woke up the next day with the determination to put Vegeta in the past and focus on Goku. You told yourself after a few days maybe you'd go see him, just to get closure of course. You got up and ready wearing leggings and a long-sleeved fitted work out shirt, you were determined to train your hardest and master your Super Saiyan abilities. Walking into the kitchen you saw Goku standing there talking to a man you have never seen before, and Bulma was cooking. 

"Hey sweetie, want something to eat?" 

"Yes please, do you want any help?" 

"Oh, why yes if you could set the table for us all that would help me" 

"You got it!" 

You grabbed everything and started carrying things over. You were hesitant to get near the man you didn't know and Goku could tell he made you uncomfortable. 

"Oi Y/N this is Yamcha, Bulmas new boyfriend" 

"Oh hi" you said still staying as far from him as possible. 

He began to approach you quickly, sticking his hand out to greet you. You were still very scared around strangers, so you quickly jumped behind Goku.

Goku instinctually pushed you behind him more shielding you from him, putting his other arm out to stop Yamcha from coming any closer. 

Bulma noticed this right away and came to Yamcha's side. 

"Oh babe, I'm sorry I forgot to remind you about her, work has been so busy lately. Y/N is the woman I was telling you about, you must be gentle and cautious with her at first, remember," she said giving him a look. She had explained everything to him before, but men forget everything. 

"Oh my gosh yes I'm sorry Y/N, I didn't mean to frighten you or anything." He said as he took a few steps back. 

You slowly peeked out from behind Goku, you looked up at him and he looked at you he nudged his head towards Yamcha and whispered to you "it's ok, he's a nice guy." 

You stepped completely out from behind Goku now, but still stayed close to him. 

"Hi, I'm Yamcha, nice to meet you Y/N" he said while slowly sticking his hand out to you. 

You looked at it, debating on what to do. You looked one more time towards Goku and he moved forward with you towards Yamcha's hand. 

You grabbed it and shook his hand "Hi, nice to meet you as well" you said with a slight smile. 

"I've heard a lot of good things about you," he said with a smile. 

"Y-you have?" You said confused. 

"Yes, Bulma tells me you're an amazing friend and Goku here tells me you're one strong Saiyan. I can't wait to see you fight" 

"Well thank you, yeah once I get the hang of my powers more maybe we could spar" 

Goku and Bulma instantly started laughing. Yamcha looked down while rubbing the back of his neck. 

"What's so funny? I don't get it," you said. 

"Oh sweetie, it's just Yamcha isn't a Saiyan like you guys so..." 

"So that means I'm nowhere near as strong as you guys and from what I hear you are very strong. I wouldn't stand a chance," Yamcha said cutting Bulma off. 

"O-oh I see, well sorry about that" you said looking away feeling a little dumb. 

"Eh don't be its ok"
