Once Bulma left the note on your nightstand, she grabbed her bags and drove straight to Yamcha's house. She had been in contact with him the past few days asking for advice on what to do with Vegeta. When she called crying the night, she heard what Vegeta said, Yamcha told her to come over and figure stuff out.
When she arrived, he was already outside waiting to greet her.
"You look great Bulma" he said embracing her
"Thanks, Yamcha, you look pretty great yourself."
She got settled in then explained everything about that night to Yamcha.
"So, you're not worried that she's there with Vegeta by herself?"
"Normally yes I would be, I feel like Vegeta would have taken advantage of her vulnerability, but Goku is there, and I happen to know he has feelings for her so I know he will definitely stop Vegeta from trying anything"
"Oh, that's good then, so tell me more about the dumb things Vegeta's been doing"
"Oh gosh well..."
She knew she deserved better than what Vegeta was offering her but didn't believe it until she saw the way Yamcha treated her. He treated Bulma like a queen, making her breakfast, asking what she needed or wanted he catered to her every need. Day after day of this she began to accept that Vegeta could never offer her these things. "I need to move on, Yamcha has opened my eyes so much. He's so amazing, what would I have done without him?" she thought to herself.
After spending a week away, she knew what she had to do. She stood out front hugging Yamcha goodbye, he pulled away still holding onto her staring at her lips.
"Yamcha, stop doing that, you're going to make me cave and I don't want too. When we kiss, I want to be single I need to take care of the situation with Vegeta first"
"You're right, you're right, it's just so hard to resist you." he said smiling.
"It'll be worth it I promise" she says smiling back at him.
Bulma got in her car and drove home, not knowing what chaos she was coming home too.
***Short chapter, this was just so you know what took place on Bulma's end during the week she was gone.
