Why don't you?

"Why don't you forgive people..?"
They asked me that I remeber I was looking down to the ground as they stared at me I look up at them with a sign and forced a smile as I said:
"I used to but they always repeated what they did over and over again I forgave and tried to forget but as I grew up I remembered the saying to forgive but not forget."

"Why are you so insensitive?"

I stared at them as they looking at me angrily judgingly then noticed I  was calm and I guess what they called a blank face is what I had on.
"I am from the south I was raise to see what the world is and how it is no one ever sugar coat things if they did we all deem them a liar or a fake its better to be serve cold and upfront then lied to and stab in the back."

"Why are you so heartless?"

They asked I look at them and put my hands in my pocket.
"The better question is am I heartless or do I speak my mind and say how I see it or if I'm just the one who will say how it actually is? Honestly I don't care which you see me as cause what matters is the people who know me and that's not just anyone."
