Andrea keep missing her shots. I don't know what to say as she and Dad need more and more angry. Missing again she clenches her jaw "it's moving to fast." The explanation is not good enough for Dad. "Do you think walkers will just stand there were you not listening when I was talking to Jacob? Your angry? Good! Use that anger make it obey you hold it still make it help you focus!" She scowls "like your so calm?"
He raises his gun and shoot in one quick motion hitting the log several times. "See I'm calm as a monk. I'm in control not my emotions. You cannot let yourself get out of control ever one slip up will cost you your life." She bites her lip hard "I'm trying, just lighten up a little." Dad shakes his head "the walker won't take it easy the people who want to hurt you won't take it easy they won't lighten up!" He points to the log "shoot it! Treat it like a walker."
Andrea shoots at it with Dad yelling "it's 20 ft away 15, 10, 5, 3, 1!" Decreasing with every shot. She misses all the shots. Dad yells "that's it your dead you lost your life. Your eaten by a walker just like your sister."
There's a pause Andrea look Beyond angry there's tears in her eyes. Dad even looks taken aback by what he said. Even still he points now shoot. She does hitting the log multiple times. He nods "now you got it." Andrea puts the gun in the holster "fuck you Shane Walsh."
Dad scowls but there his face relaxes as he looks from her to me. "I'll agree I went too far I'm sorry." She nods "fine." He looks to the sun "the light will be gone to soon but tomorrow there's more ways to learn to kill walkers." She raises a eyebrow "what are you planning." Loading a gun he smirks. "Tomorrow we go to the the search party is checking out today and kill the walkers. Get some better targets than logs."
Andrea smiles "what better way to learn than the real thing right?" He nods but turns to me "sorry champ but three people would be to risky ok?" I nod watching both of them. She smiles "let's get back to the farm and then see if we found a new home." Turning around she hops in the passenger seat of the truck.

She smirks back at Dad winking over her shoulder. "You coming Shane?~" Dad breaths out making a soft whistling sound. I look up at him watching his smiling face. "Dad do you like Andrea ?" His face falls a little kneeling down he cups the back of my head with one hand while the other is on my cheek "why do you ask? You know I will never let anything or anyone get between us your my first priority I meant what I said earlier you know that right?"
I nod "yes dad it's just I wanted to tell you I like her too. She is really nice and cool. You should be happy Dad." Dad smiles standing up picking me up. "Yes I like her but I don't want you worry about anything ok?" He kisses my head when I nod.Taking me back to the truck he opens the back seat.
When I craw into the small back seat the extended cab Andrea and Dad get into the front. The leaves blur into brown of both the leaves and the branches . Most of the trees are bare now. The only green left is on the pine trees and the cloves patches on the ground. I rest the side my head on the small window watching it all flow by.
