When everyone got to Johnny's Saloon they realized it was karaoke night. Instead of leaving they decided to go ahead and stick around.
After they got their table and some drinks Nova took a few sips then walked over to the DJ, talked to him a few minutes then returned with a smile.
"What was that about?" Zack smiled, putting his arm on the back of her chair.
"Just put in a couple requests, that's all." She smirked shrugging one shoulder.
"So we get to hear you sing in front of everyone?" Val beamed.
"You do." She nodded.
"Awesome." Michelle clapped.
When it was her time to go up she kissed Zacky's cheek then walked up to the stage. At first she was nervous, seeing eyes on her but she soon relaxed, putting her heart and soul into the song she sung. Which was Warrior by Demi Lovato.

"Holy shit, that was amazing!" They all exclaimed when Nova joined them back at the table.
"Shit girl, I knew you could sing but not that good." Brian grinned.
"Thanks you guys." Nova blushed.

"Okay so we don't normally have a request like this but it happened. This next person wanted to use the instruments." The DJ motioned behind him, he then had Nova come up.
"Uhm, before I start I just want to say, this was dedicated to me years ago. Oh and I want to apologize in advance if I make any mistakes, especially to a certain group of people." She winked then began playing Warmness on the Soul, staring at Zack the whole time.
"Holy shit dude. I think she's better at singing it than you." Jimmy smirked nudging Matt's shoulders.
"Well maybe then we should also replace you with her on keys." Matt joked back.
"Touche."
Zack then went up, messed with the guitar then started playing it while Jimmy followed, playing the drums.
Once they were done they got a round of applause from the patrons.
"I'm sorry baby, I hope we didn't steal your shine." He kissed her cheek.
"No, of course not, you guys enhanced it. It's not like it was my song to begin with anyways." She beamed at him, she then looked at the rest of them, "I hope I didn't fuck up your guys song too much."
"Are you kidding me? Hell no you didn't, you were amazing at it Nova." Matt beamed and everyone agreed.

"Girl, that was amazing performance." Some guy said to Nova when she went to the bar, "I know some people who could get you a record deal." He rubs his hand on her shoulder to which she instantly shook it off, "Especially if you give me a good time." He rubbed her arm.
"Yeah no thank you and if you don't keep your hands off of me you're gonna regret it." She sneered.
"Oh come on, I'm just trying to have some fun."
Matt noticed what was going on and nudged Zack's shoulder as he stood up, "Uh Zack, come on." He motioned his head towards the bar.
Zack seen where he was looking and quickly stood up. But right as they got to them Nova had punched the guy in the face.
"Motherfucker, I told you to leave your hands off me or you'll regret it!" She yelled in his face as she shook her hand.
"Holy shit babe." Zacky chuckled.
"I told you I could take care of myself." She grumbled as she noticed security. "Shit, guess time to leave huh."
"Actually, not for you, you guys can stay. He is the one leaving."
"Why? This bitch attacked me!" The guy grumbled holding his nose.
"Yeah and it's about time someone did. Every time you come in here, you cause problems. Come in here again and I'll call the police." The security forced him out.
"Here, drink is on me." The bartender smiled, "He's a creep, about time he was banned from here." She chuckled and handed her an ice pack for her hand.
"Thanks." Nova smiled back and chugged half the drink then placed the ice pack on her hand.
"Girl, you're a beast, remind me never to piss you off." Brian chuckled when they got back to the table.
"Exactly or you'll be next to catch these hands." She winked then looked at Jimmy, "By the way I think you should go talk the bartender, she thinks you're a cutie." She slid a piece of paper to him.
He looks at it and smirks, "Leana huh? She is beautiful that's for sure."
"Then go say hi bro." She nudged him towards the bar, "About time you find some loving too. Now go!"
"I'm going, I'm going." He chuckled then walked away.
"How do you do that?" Michelle asked.
"Do what?"
"Instead of worrying about the pain that's obviously in your hand you're trying to set up Jimmy with someone."
"Oh." Nova shrugs, "I've learned years ago to block out pain, I had to, to survive." She smiled as Zack rubbed her back, "I've learned that showing pain, is showing weakness and so I've blocked it."
"Showing pain is not showing weakness, it shows that you're human, that you have feelings just like everyone else." Johnny shook his head, "Whoever told you that is fucked up."
"And he's also dead now." Nova smirked.
"Shit, sorry." Johnny choked on his drink.
"No it's fine." She smirked looks at Zack, "He doesn't know does he?"
"I don't think so."
She then went on to explain how she was abused by her father and how she got out. Which surprised the hell out of him.
