I woke up feeling great and was ready for school. I felt really good since yesterday. I had dinner at Hunters with his mother, step dad and step brother. You know, I was shocked when I found out that Mike was Hunter's brother, they just seemed like friends to me although they really did look like one another.

The good thoughts left me immediately and I needed to hurry up and get to school. I changed into some jean shorts and a t-shirt. On top I wore a red leather jacket.

I quickly rushed down stairs and grabbed an apple from the frigde. Heading out the door I felt like I had forgotten something. I turned around when I saw a very mad Lizzy. Oops! I almost left without her. OMG, I'm so tired and I can't even pay attention to what's going on around me. In other words, you can say I'm oblivious.

"Hello?!" My best friend said bringing me back into reality."hey?" I asked not knowing she was actually trying to get my attention."Tess, are you okay?" she asked me with concern. But I didn't know. Was I okay, was I happy? "I'm good" I said putting a smile on my face just for her. But, I knew it wasn't real. I was really happy that me and hunter became closer friends but was that all that he wanted, or is it just me wanting to be more than just friends.

The school year is almost over and I am so glad to finally get some rest and relax at the beach. I don't know if I might be going somewhere. I might just end up chilling and hanging out with friends this summer. Liz and I arrive at school and I think we're early because there's not lots of people here. We walked through the gate and there were small groups of different people hanging around their cars at the parking lot, that's when I spotted Hunter and his large group of friends just talking. I wasn't sure if I should walk over there and say hi.

I was about to walk over when the bell rang interrupting my thoughts. I changed the direction in which I was walking and started to walk inside. But, somebody decided to stop walking right in front of me and I bump straight into their very toned chest and I fall straight to the ground onto my ass and lose sight of Lizzy. I look up and see Hunter laughing like there's no tomorrow. He puts his hand out to help me get up from the ground and I take it. I dust off my pants "well, hello to you too" I say sounding pretty annoyed because now my butt hurts. He chuckles slightly once more and then just says a simple hey. We then get inside. That's when I notice that he is still holding my hand and I begin to blush a tomato red colour.

I didn't have my first class with Hunter so we weren't together for so long, as I was walking with Lizzy over to my math class I noticed a cute guy walking in front of the two of us. That's when I realized that he was Justin from the party and he was in our math class all year. How come I've never noticed him. "What?" Lizzy asked I just said something she hadn't heard. Oops did I say that out loud, I didn't know what my feelings were for Hunter I just thought maybe I should go for a guy that isn't so hard to get.

The bell rang and we took our seats in class, except instead of my usual seat I sat right next to Justin. He look over to me and gave me a cute smile, I returned the smile and the teacher began the lesson. She was finally done her never ending speech and now we were all doing the class work 'silently'. "Psst" I hear someone whisper next to me, I knew it was Justin but I just ignored it. "Pssst" I heard again but louder this time. I smile to myself and turn my head towards Justin, "what" I said with mock annoyance. I wasn't actually annoyed, this was just fun. "Hey" he said smirking. I chuckled, rolled my eyes and turned my head back to the work, that was boring me to death. "Psst" I heard for a third time now and even louder then the first two, so this time everyone turned there heads to me and Justin. "Ms. Cliffer, Mr. Pearce stop flirting and get back to work" the teacher said, as if the the whole school didn't already hear it. My face started to burn and the whole class started to laugh.

After a couple more minutes I gave up on math and started to have a conversation with Justin. I turned my whole body around in my chair and said hi. He stopped doing his work immediately, a huge grin on his face appeared he turned towards me and said hey. That's apparently all it took for him to get my number. That's when the bell rang we bid our farewells and then I walked out of class with Lizzy.

Science just gets better the closer I get to Hunter. I love science now. As I completely ignored what the teacher was saying and stared at Hunter, there was a sudden announcement. "Can Tessa Cliffer please come down to the office immediately." I glanced at hunter, then the teacher. She nodded and I stand up and get out of the class. Once I got to the office, I saw my dad sitting there with a sad look on his face. I was so confused and caught up with him that I failed to notice a girl a bit younger than me sitting beside him. But, she wasn't just sad, she was crying.

When we got home, he explained everything and I mean everything. I knew I wasn't an only child but, why now? I went to my room and tried to sleep it off, and then that's when I bursted into tears. I ended up sleeping for the whole day since I got picked up from school in the morning, and when I woke up it was time for dinner. I walked downstairs to the living room in my pj's and saw that my dad and my brand new sister, Katherine were watching some tv show that I wasn't so fond of, but I knew my dad liked it. So I walk over and sat on the couch next to Kathy and grabbed a slice of pizza and ate it up.

"So, Kathy, where are you going to live now?" I asked. I had a feeling I knew the answer right when I asked her. "I'm gonna live right here. In the guest room next to yours!" We hardly knew each other, but I've always wanted a sister and she seemed to want one too. "We should hang out someti-" I was interrupted. By a big hug, at first it was weird but then I just hugged her back. This is gonna be fun! I hope.
