Louis yelled, watching in dismay as the small stack of boxes he was holding toppled onto the gravelly floor in front of him. "Damn it" he muttered beginning to pick up the contents of the box, a footie trophy, a few old books, and some picture frames, he flipped the pictures letting out a sigh of relief when he observed them all to be intact.

Louis threw them back into the box and looked up at the red brick London house that would be his new home, it was quite mismatched- there were two front doors, a smaller one painted white with a wide window next to it, as well as a fancier door painted minty green with a black lion head knocker.

The shutters above were the same shade of mint and tangled red roses climbed up the brickwork to a small balcony, it was painted, but the white paint was peeling away to reveal the protective coat.

He smiled going over to the smaller door and pushing it open, the house smelt of fresh paint and wood, there was a lot of exploring to do as it was fully furnished, but he had been half asleep clutching a mocha latte when he went on the tour. He has definitely been looking forward to when Starbucks finally got out the pumpkin spice lattes.

Looking around he saw that the room was quite open-plan, the smaller door he had walked through opened into a sort of shoe area, and there was a rack attached to the wall where he slipped his shoes off and placed the boxes. (he could only hope they would stay balanced)

Walking in he observed the beautiful room, it was white with redbrick decals- there was a pillar in the middle of the room which had a small island off of it, and on the other side a counter which connected to the wall, the counter ran all the way around making three sides of a rectangle.

The sink was placed under a large window in the middle of the oak wood counter and there were a few slightly decrepit plant pots left along the windowsill. There was another counter on the wall opposite the door which had cupboards all along the top of it, in the center between the cupboards was a large CD player and speaker set up, which made Louis grin widely.

Louis first headed to the door opposite the front door this led to some sort of study, there was a storage cupboard off the corridor then an office and right at the far end seemed to be a greenhouse with a door leading into the garden.

Closing the door he headed across the kitchen to a second door that led to a dining room with a big circular table and a grandfather clock then through another set of double doors from the dining room into the living room.

There was a tv in the far corner then a fireplace which had two sofas around it splitting the room in half, on one side there was a glass wall which opened onto a veranda, in front of the window was a dark-wood grand piano and shelves where it looked like a record player had once sat. This was the music room; Louis had his own things to put in here.

At the other end of the room, there was another door that lead him to the hall, where the larger door opened, there was also a door into the kitchen making a full loop.

He had a feeling that his younger sisters would play chase through the rooms when they came to visit, he opened a door which was a few steps down, just a bathroom.

He chuckled to himself heading up the stairs, the next few rooms were uninteresting probably used as guest rooms by the previous owner, he stumbled across another bathroom before opening a larger door, and his eyes were met with the master bedroom.

There was a massive bed on the same wall as the door a large dressing table under the window on the far wall and a full-length mirror next to it.

Louis grumbled at his tousled appearance running a hand quickly through his hair, there were a few steps down into an ensuite bathroom and a walk-in wardrobe. Louis was shocked when he talked about it they said the house wasn't that big when it obviously was.

He pulled his rucksack off and placed it on his new bed, he then ran down the corridor squealing like a child before running into the room which had the balcony doors on them, he twisted the key and pulled the door open.

The view was stunning he had a clear view over the neighbourhood as well as his front garden, and the sun was setting over the rooftops of the houses across the road. He turned to his right mouth open about to say something, but whoever he was going to address wasn't there.

He simply placed a hand on the balcony "miss you, you would have loved this" he whispered to the sunset "I don't know where you are but I need to move on, not forget but stop wishing you were still here, I think that's maybe what you would have wanted. Love you," Louis turned away from the balcony a tear slipping down his cheek. Completely unaware of the person on the balcony across the street watching him with curiosity.

A/N: That was a little heavy going and confusing... it gets better. I swear. Idk what happened to this one.
