Sans and you walked in inside the quiet and dark house. You opened the door for sans while he walked in. He seemed to be casual in everything he does, like always. He sat down on your sofa and tried to invite you to sit down as well. You shot down the offer and wanted to go upstairs. You wanted to take off sans' hoodie because it was warm inside but you liked him so much you wanted to keep it on, so you took off the shirt you were wearing instead.

You zipped it down slightly until a little bit of your chest could be seen. You walked back down and sat next to sans

"uh, Y/N, you could have just given me back my jacket if you were warm y'know?" sans spoke, still looking at your exposed chest area.

"Noo.. I wanna wear it because it's yours.." Your voice trailed off.

"alright, if thats what you want." sans replied.

You turned on the television while sitting next to sans on the couch. You were drifting in and out of sleep because you were sitting upright when you were sleeping.

Surprisingly, you fell asleep without knowing. You woke up to.. Being on sans' lap?!

He was petting you and playing with your hair when you had fallen asleep. It felt nice when someone like him was stroking your hair.

You got up immediately, "shit! I'm so sorry sans! I didn't mean to!" you apologised profusely.

"calm down kid, i placed you on my lap because you seemed uncomfortable sleeping while sitting upright." sans explained.

You were blushing, and you ran upstairs to the toilet to clear your head.

"I'm sorry, I need to think!"

"hey, wait!" sans' voice got softer as you ran up the stairs.

You sat inside the toilet for god knows how long.

I can't believe I have a crush on a monster. A monster who only got freed from the underground a few days ago. I hope he doesn't think I'm weird. I just wanna be friends if that's all he wants from me. I feel like I'm letting myself attach to him. I wouldn't want him to think I'm annoying because I bother almost everyone around me. What will my parents think of me once they find out I have a crush on a monster? What if they disown me, what if my bestfriend disowns me? I can't believe myself. How did I get so lost?

"I'm pathetic." You winced at the reflection of yourself in the bathroom mirror.

You walked out of the toilet, changed into your shirt and took off his jacket.

Whilst walking downstairs, you couldn't help but sob a little.

"Here's your jacket sans. You should probably head home. It's gonna be late."

"Y/N, im sorry if i-"

"It's alright, I just need time to think." You sniffled.

"alright.. see ya Y/N." You could hear the sadness in sans' voice as he walked out with his jacket in his hands.
