You woke up from your slumber. You slept right after you sent sans went home. You feel guilty and horrible. I sent him away because he was looking out for me. How many people am I gonna shut out of my life? I feel horrible. I don't want to get up from my bed. I wish that I didn't even wake up in the first place.
Why do I care so much about sans? Why do I have a crush on him..
Knock knock..
"Y/N? Honey, you didn't even eat dinner yesterday and you've been locking yourself in your room. Is there something we need to talk about?" Your mother sounded in care and worry.
"I'll be fine. I'll get up soon mom, I promise." You lied through your teeth.
You heard her footsteps retreat downstairs.
Why do I push everyone away? I guess I just like to self sabotage myself when something good appears in my life, huh.
You reluctantly got up and changed, washed your face and brushed your teeth. You headed downstairs to be greeted by your mother and father both relieved to see you.
"Honey, are you okay? It seems like somethings bothering you." Your mother asked.
"What do you think of monsters?"
"Honey, why would you ask that?"
"What do you think of them?"
Your mother told you that they seemed harmless despite the fact that they had to kill 6 human children to escape from the underground. They had no choice afterall. Your mother seems to share the same view as you. Unlike your father, who grunts angrily.
Your mother sighed. "They had no choice snd the poor king had to lie to himself saying it was for the good of the underground. Have you seen how that man looks so harmless? He gardens!"
You smiled knowing that your mother thinks the same way as you. It's comforting knowing not all of society hates them.
"I'm glad you're my mother." You hug her tight.
Your father looked at both of you disapprovingly, but not daring to say anything to hurt your mothers feelings. He does not share the same opinion but he won't force you to change it.
You told your mother that you would go out and play with the animals a little.
"Oh, honey, don't forget theres another speech today in 20 minutes." Your mother states.
You nod and head out to the field. Expecting to be alone, you sat near the apple tree for shade. Not long later you see your bestfriend waving at you from a distance before jumping over the fence and walking towards you.
"How are you? I was heading to the speech!" Your bestfriend exclaims.
You say that you're alright. Just thinking.
"Oh, okay. Did you hear this new spider lady? She's opening a bakery." They blurted out of excitement.
"Wait.. Don't you love spiders?"
"You wanna see the spider lady, don't you?" You teased.
Your bestfriend and you kept talking back and forth, it felt nice to have someone to talk to. You didn't know you needed company.
"So.. What's up with you and the skeleton, eh?" Your bestfriend poked you with their elbow.
"He's alright, I guess." You replied.
Suddenly the atmosphere got gloomy, as if what you had just said had upset someone, or something. Were you being watched? Watched by who? And where are they watching you from?
"I thought he meant more than that. You were so happy to see him I could tell." Your bestfriend commented.
"Eh, I guess. Nothing special." You replied.
You both got up to walk, and whilst walking, you swear you saw some blue jacket guy with pink fluffy slippers behind the tree you were sitting infront of but he disappeared within a second.
"What? What's so interesting about the tree? Let's go to the speech already." Your bestfriend judged you.
