~ During the Events of SPM ~
Your ears rang loudly. You couldn't quite tell if you were conscious or not. You couldn't even tell where you were, what day it was, if you were dead or alive.
Everything felt so confusing. Was everything always this confusing?
The last thing you remembered was... huh? What WAS the last thing you remembered?
"GARY, NO!"
Oh, right. THAT. You remembered you got caught.
Which meant one of two things.
Eheh... get it? Two?
You pushed the number pun away and tried clearing your head.
If you got caught, then it was likely that you were either dead or captured.
Please be the second one, please be the second one, you thought to yourself, sitting up and opening your eyes.
"Dark room! YES!" You exclaimed, pumping your fist into the air. You had never been to the Underwhere or the Overthere, but you were sure they didn't look like this, which meant you WEREN'T dead!
Yet.
"... You seem quite enthusiastic," a calm and collected voice mused. You immediately bit your tongue, feeling almost embarrassed. You rubbed the back of your neck, then turned towards where the voice seemed to come from.
Sitting in what looked to be a fairly comfortable chair was a girl with blue skin and pink hair. You remembered her. She was one of the people at the wedding. She was the one who...
Wait... what DID she do to you? You remember her doing something... but you couldn't seem to remember what that something actually was.
"Sorry. This is one of my first times being kidnapped. Am I not supposed to do that?" You asked, smirking slightly.
You knew that you probably should have been afraid. In fact... normally you would be terrified. Ever since you lost Ben and One, you've always done your best to be cautious. It was easy to let your fears take control while being weighed down by grief.
But for some reason, you felt like all your fears had been melted away.
The girl in the chair shrugged. You couldn't help but look at the features of the seat. It was black, but the seat looked cushioned. It also had wheels on the bottom. It looked like one of those spinny/rolling chairs that you used to dream about. Seriously, those chairs always looked so fun.
You made a mental note to take that chair with you if you were to break out.
"I'm sure you're confused. Allow me to catch you up to speed," The girl breathed, pulling out a clipboard and reading a list to you.
You couldn't help but tune her out. Instead, you were thinking of ways to escape WITH the chair. All the windows seemed sealed shut, plus they were too high. You could try to utilize the doors, but you hardly knew your way around the castle.
Wait... escape? Did you even want to escape?!
Yes, of course! You have to go find Mario and help him! One voice in your head urged.
Yet, that voice seemed small now. While it used to be the source of your motivation, now it somehow seemed insignificant.
"Mr. L? Hey, are you even listening?" The girl hissed, snapping her fingers in front of your face.
"No. I was thinking of ways to steal that chair and escape," You admitted.
There was no point in lying.
