A dragon devouring faeries (TOME 15 of the TIAMAT'S WARS SERIE)

Angry.

Kate and I watched sadly as the 3 dragonets contorted themselves into pardons and I couldn't watch that scene for another minute.

In the afternoon, they had gone to the park and I had given them miniature hang gliders to make kites. The three of them had a great time and then they went to the sports area where there was a huge plain with fountains, animals and even a mini zoo where they could see monkeys, spider goats. (they produced silk instead of milk and had 8 eyes).

But what was obvious, no Kobold came to play with them... they were how to say... ostracized...

They went out and it was the muzzle and the crying that went with it.

The punishment isolated them and only made the frustration more severe.

After 3 days, I brought Arnold and Louise home.

Bello and Sarah arrived with a Kobold. Kate was in the back temple, lying down.

Arnold and Louise got scared and wanted to run away but the door was closed.

I stood against the door.

Arnold: "DADDY? You promised us! The white monster is here..."

"John (Bello), Sarah, thank you but this is a family matter.

They walked out and the children screamed to get out.

"DAD?? they have a muzzle, right???" asked Louise.

"THAT'S ENOUGH NOW!!!! You are alive and no one here wants to hurt you! "

Kate wanted to turn but I objected.

"KATE! NO! It's up to them to make an effort and accept reality like we had to..."

KAte: "Honey...they are just children.."

"WHAT DO THEY KNOW ABOUT SUFFERING? OF DEATH??? When I made my expedition 3000 years ago in Nepal, I saw famine and misery...And it was the children who were the bravest! Here, they lived in the leather of the chair and with a fridge that spat out sodas and other treats..."

Kate: "They've been on ice!!!"

"It's not ICE, MUCH LESS WATER!!! This is crystallized time... Time froze for them, 3000 years in the blink of an eye.. "

Kate knew I was right and I looked sternly at the 2 humans...

"The human kingdom is over!!! We share with the races! And believe me there are worse than dragons and Vespalians here.... The dinosaurs are back, well the ones that Tyrant recreated!"

Arnold: "DADDY!!! DADDY... why are you getting mad at us!!!, I almost died!"

"VERMILLION!!! come here!"

The young dragonet cried and crawled in front of KAte who shook his tail like a whip..

"Don't you have anything to say???"

Vermillion "Please...Arnold.... don't shoot us... I messed up bad... It was like a force...I'm sorry..."

Arnold was crying and hiding behind me.

But all of a sudden I started to grow, and to be the same size as Kate

I was a black dragon...

I looked terrifying and yawned, showing my sword-sized teeth. Arnold and Louise stuck in the middle of the room were crying.

GRRRRRRR.

Vermillion rushed to the middle, also crying and terrified of my appearance which they had never seen before. Kate, white and soft, looked smooth and peaceful but I looked like a nightmare from hell.
