At the edge of the solar system, around Jupiter, an ark ship was orbiting a moon, in its radar shadow, visibly hidden.

The lights in the hibernation zone were flashing at the navigation personnel, mostly humans of Russian origin.

The captain, a bald man in the uniform of the old Romanovs, opened his eyes and slowly his breathing stabilized.

Leaning on one hand, he vaguely recalled memories that seemed like a flash, as if all the events had happened yesterday or the day before.

The first thing he saw on the monitor above the cryogenic bed was his name

General Yuri and Commander of the Soviet Allied Forces.

Dressed in pajamas covered with hammer and sickle symbols, he finally stood up and looked at the on-board calendar and the Earth calendar calculated according to the Casimir effect, or time slowed down in proportion to distance.

50 years had passed on board, while 3000 years had passed on earth.

He was still a little groggy, then, being the first, he mentally contacted the computer via an implant of his own making, and blocked the awakening of the other crew members.

He then carefully chose his "friends", leaving in the computer's log an emergency alarm clock.

The first thing he did was to take a bath and have a good breakfast.

Analyzing the situation, he did not take the risk to reveal his coordinates by emitting radar waves.

On the other hand, he had prepared in advance the sending of a probe, disguised as a meteorite and it was ejected in the direction of the earth.

Meanwhile, Kate made friends with the dwarf women and their children.

While many of the dwarves were blacksmiths and boilermakers, the women were not left out.

But they kept a veil for decency, to hide the fact that they had no beard and it was strict, a bit like the time when people followed the Muslim religion, but they did not hide the top of the head but their chin and throat.

Kate was even given a tooth cover, so that she would look less scary, and she began to integrate into the community.

If the dwarves were afraid of Hans, they were mostly afraid that something would happen to the dragoness and they watched her discreetly from a distance.

She paid little attention and concentrated on helping with recipes and reinventing utensils such as the famous tupperware, fridges and mixers and everything else that came with the old world.

She was also introduced to ancient objects that she recognized and explained how to repair them and how they worked.

Her time was really busy, but in the evening, Pixel, her best friend, confided in her that they were terrified and afraid of dying.

The Elves had decimated their population for being unfaithful to Tyrant and being corrupted by the science and technology of the Ancients.

"Kate, were the ancients demons?"

"Not at all!... They were like you, but with elf legs and round ears...We had our families, children, and cities.

We ate our fill most of the time and we cured many diseases and infirmities... We were very advanced and we started to explore the stars, which probably triggered our extermination..."

Pixel: "So you had a skin like us and a bit bigger than me?"

"Yes... and I had two beautiful children but they were kidnapped by our executioners... and Hans... went crazy.... Look what he became. But ...well... we are alive thanks to him...."

"Yes, but he is very scary with his goddess..."

"What do you mean? "

"Yes, I shouldn't say it but our king is terrified. Yet he never showed his fear... I saw it... I thought I was going into the ground...

And Hans, your husband, grew like the mountain and rubbed his cheek against a greenhouse that came down from the sky. Her eyes... big as the moon.

She could swallow the world.."

"But???"

"This is the great Hydra...the Destroyer...A Goddess...I'm afraid to name her...but he calls her "Mommy!" and...for a moment, I saw eight heads to your husband. He was a miniature of the hydra"

"......"

Kate was confused and didn't know this side of her husband. He was a scientist but he was never into religion or theology...she thought.

"I need to talk to him!"

"NO!, please, Kate...don't say anything...we are afraid of his wrath....you have no idea!"

Kate clutched the little dwarf to her heart.

"Nothing will ever happen to you, as long as I am here! Do you understand? You are my friend and nobody, I say, nobody will hurt you, especially not Hans...He is sometimes grumpy, but he is not a bad guy."

Then, a few moments later, in the great hall, one could hear pickaxes and statues representing Tyrant and underground gods being removed, to make way.

Dwarf priests and sages were copying a huge black bible, meant to be held by a dragon... It was the cult of Tiamat, ENKA version... that was born.

The Dwarves, terrified, had all converted to the cult of the Hydra and stored in the archives the texts and runes of their old cult.

Some tried their hand at magic, which was forbidden to them by nature, and, o miracle, the draconic runes worked!

Hans, Carnage, had become their messiah!
