The girl had arrived at the boys house in a mess. Her dress was ripped and muddy, mascara was running down her face, her lip stick was smeared, and her bun had fallen apart. She knocked on the door, very hard, and sank down to the ground. She was sobbing and wailing by the time Ashton opened the door. His eyes filled with worry once he saw the sight before his eyes. The boy had always liked Jess (the girl) and felt sympathy for her. He reached out and took her into his arms leading her into the house. He cradled her shaking body back and forth, as she only cried harder. Here she was on her wedding day, in the arms of the one she had an affair with rather than the boy who she loved dearly whom she was supposed to marry. Jessiyln's sobs quietly stopped and she looked up at Ashton before kissing him. He was a bit taken back by her actions, but they were soon making out.
Luke was beginning to become worried. He didn't know where Jessiyln went. The poor boy had been crying nonstop and decided to give his mate Ashton a call. His phone ringed and ringed, but Ashton never picked up. He decided to just go to Ashton's house since he owed Luke an explanation as to why he wasn't at the wedding. Luke then picked up his daughter, Isabelle, and was off. 20 minutes later, he arrived at Ashton's house. His other mates, Michael and Calum, were with him. They were quite furious with Ashton for not showing up. Calum then knocked on the door, but there was no answer. So, they tried again and again, until Michael realized no one was coming and the door was unlocked. They all entered and walked into the living room.
Luke's eyes widened at the sight of Jess an Ashton kissing and his daughter began to cry. Isabelle's loud cries startled Ashton and Jess. Michael and Calum shook their heads angrily as Luke stood there with no words, but only tears coming from his eyes. Jess began to stand up and was soon walking towards Isabelle. She put her hands out for her daughter, but Isabelle refused and ran to Luke. Jess's eyes filled with tears at the sight of her daughter giving her a glare as the little girl slightly shook her head. Ashton slowly approached the other two boys, but Michael abruptly stopped him and said,
"You're fucked up man."
Calum was beyond angry, he hated when people hurt his mates feelings. He stepped forward and punched Ashton square in the jaw. Everyone's eyes turned towards the two as Ashton groaned in pain. Tears were falling from Jess's eyes, she never wanted for any of this to happen. She quickly ran to the injured boys side and hugged him. Luke was beyond hurt by her actions and began to walk out of the house, with the others following him. As he was halfway out the door, he turned around looking at Jess with red puffy eyes before saying,
"Thanks for always being there for me even if the love wasn't real. We had a lot of great memories that I could never forget. I honestly love you and if being with Ashton makes you happy then so be it."
And with that Luke walked out the door, with his daughter clinging onto his arms and his mates by his side, leaving Jess to sob quietly.
