****5 weeks later****
Today was the day. Jessiyln's funeral. Everybody was actually doing fine, with the exception of Luke. He got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago and had been doing fine up until he heard about Jess's death. He nearly passed out multiple times, but he kept telling himself everything would be okay, although he would never know for sure. Meanwhile, he never quite explained to his daughter what happened. He simply told her, "mommy was going far away for work" or "mommy won't be back for a long time, but it's okay daddy's here." It broke his heart to lie to his baby like that, but he just couldn't tell her the truth. In conclusion, the little girl wouldn't go to the funeral and never properly say goodbye to her mother.
On the way, to the funeral, Luke picked up Michael and Calum. They weren't formally invited, but the poor blonde boy couldn't do this without his best buds by his side. Plus, he knew for sure Ashton would be there and he couldn't deal with the curly haired boy all alone. As soon as they arrived, they could easily spot Jess's mother. She has been dressed in all black, with tears cascading down her face. It broke Luke's heart to see her in such pain and he couldn't help, but hug her, startling her a bit. She quickly turned around and relaxed once she saw that it was only Luke. Her sobs only grew louder at the sight of the blonde boy and he sent her a confused expression.
"Oh Luke. I'm so sorry. Jess loved you very much, I don't know why she made the mistake on leaving that alter. I'm sorry. I'm just glad you decided to come."
She sobbed.
"Oh it's my pleasure, I wouldn't miss this for the world. I don't know what I would do if I didn't properly say goodbye to Jess, I still love her."
He sent a sad smile to her, while she only nodded. She then sniffed and said,
"Ashton is up there. I know you guys are best buds, so I saved you a seat up there with him."
Luke only nodded and gestured for his friends to follow him. As they were walking down the isle, some girl managed to trip and fall causing Luke to leap forward and catch her. Surprisingly, he did, causing the girl to look down in embarrassment muttering "oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, thank you," before she lifted up her head and looked into Luke's oceanic orbs. Her lips began to curve into a smile before realization hit her.
"Y-your Luke. Oh my gosh." She said with wide eyes, causing Luke to chuckle.
"Yes I am. And you are?"
"Valerie."
"Oh shit."

Alright. That's just part one. Part two will be uploaded tomorrow on me and Luke's birthday. I can't believe he is gonna be 19! I also can't believe they made us watch two fucking hours of some guy spray painting a wall with a stupid ass dog cheerleader on there and then once he was finished we literally saw the guys for barely 5 minutes explaining how we have to wait TWO FUCKING days for the single to come out.....
Anyways, I have anger issues lol
Also that's Valerie's outfit up there, so yeah.
