3 weeks had passed and Luke was a total wreck. All he ever did was lay in bed, watch TV, eat, and shower. And his routine went on and on. Luke was in pain. He would wake up around 3 am every day from having nightmares about that day. He wished he could get over Jess, but his love for her was indescribable. His mates had tried, countless times for him to talk to Jess, but the boy wouldn't budge. He was just heartbroken.
On the other hand, Jess was fine. It was like nothing ever happened and she was so happy being with Ashton. He made her smile and laugh, which made the curly haired boy happy, but it was all an act. To be honest, she truly missed Luke, but she couldn't face the fact that she still cheated on him. She was desperately trying to forget about Luke, but it was hard. Luke was like her drug, her addiction. Although she still loved Luke she couldn't go back to him, it was for the best.
