Nyakallo
I sat in front of the mirror as Naledi helped me with the attire and the head wrap i was wearing and i looked like a goddess.
Naledi: how you feeling?
Me: nervous to think about the fact that ill traditionally married after this.
Naledi: i see you packed.
Me: dad says that they asked for me to go back with them
She nodded. My aunt walked in.
Aunty: They ask to see you
Me: Do I look okay?
Aunty: Beyond words my love. You look amazing.
Me: Thank you.
Lifuno walked in looking amazing as she smiled looking at me.
Lifuno: You look beautiful kalo
Me: thanks
They helped me up and I walked to the lounge where everyone was sitting.

Phiwamandla
I saw her the minute she went down the stairs, there was a certain sadness in her eyes and her smile didn't reach her eyes and somehow that made me sad. She was tall but not to tall. Slim but not too slim had some hips and carried herself like a lady. She had rich brown skin and perfects straight teeth and big shinny eyes. She stood next to her brother who got up and introduced her to us.

Nyakallo
I looked at everyone and I saw the two guys in my age range wearing wedding bands apart the tall guy taking out reading glasses. He had on a shirt that looked like my dress and a black jean and sneakers making him look like a hunk. These are the type of man that i make sure I keep away from.
Dad: Here is your bride
One old man smiled.
Him: Thank you
Dad: Nyakallo why don't you show Phiwamandla around the house.
I nodded and he got up and We walked side by side in silence. I walked him towards the small pond at the back, it was my sanity hiding place after my mom death and it has a tiny bench there so we walked towards it and sat there. I was silent and so was he.
Me: This is all i can manage to show you
Phiwamandla: You have a lovely home.
Me: Thank you.
Than we were silent. I really didn't know what to say to him and am sure he also didn't know what to say.

Somewhere in SA
I stood outside breathing in the fresh air,I cannot believe that am out. I saw a car parked and I walked towards the driver.
Me: can I get a ride please?
Him: sure, where to?
Me: The nearest motel please.
He nodded and we drove out.

Phiwamandla
I looked at her and she was so nervous.
Me: you okay?
She gave me a fake smile and I turned fully looking at her.
Me: i think its best I tell you from start, am not looking for anyone perfect. Heck I wasn't even looking but my father believes you will make a perfect Queen and iv learnt to trust his judgement.
She looked at me.
Me:Am not sure if am making sense but all am proposing at this point is a friendship.
Nyakallo: a friendship?
Me: yes. You forced into this as much as I am but at this point we both dont have a choice. So a friendship as we navigate our life as king and Queen.

Nyakallo
I looked at him and how kind his eyes were like and smiled. For the first time today i truly smiled.
Me: that all?
Phiwamandla: that all
Me: I can do that
Phiwamandla: Good than.
I gave him my pinky finger.

Phiwamandla
I looked at her showing me her perfect manicured pinky finger.
Me: what this
Nyakallo: my finger
Me: i can see that
Nyakallo: pinky promise
Me: I keep my word
Nyakallo: Pinky promise me that throughout this ordeal you will be a friend first.
Me: Am going to be a friend first
I took her finger and that bright smile pulled up transforming her face, damn she had a beautiful smile...
