I was just chilling by the couch when he walked in with the box of pizza and placed it on the coffee table and graciously sat on the floor kicking his shoes and all sitting right in front of me and placed his head on me. Its felt natural as he looked at me upside down.
Hlelo: You good?
Me: Yeah.
Hlelo: what you watching?
Me: Nothing really just browsing some stuff.
Hlelo: I finally got the elders to say yes to removing that palace and building a modern one but they gave me a budget.
Me: We can stick to the budget.
Hlelo: You pick whatever you like and we will work around the budget
Me: thank you. Tell me more about your day?
Lerumo
Its been two days since Lifuno came back home and she hasn't been talking to me. I walked in on her while she was making a lunch box for Pearl.
Me: Lifuno
She turned looking at me and I saw anger in her eyes, for the first time in all the years we have been together she has never showed her anger.
Lifuno: go wait for me in the car Pearl.
Pearl kissed me on my cheek and left and she stood there boiling.
Me: did i do something?
She laughed so hard and looked at me.
Lifuno: Did you really just asked that?
Me: yes
Lifuno: you asking because you have no idea why am angry or you want a confirmation?
Me: Are you going to tell me?
Lifuno: Is there something about Nyakallo that I dont know?
Me: I don't know, why you ask?
Lifuno: am asking because no father in this whole universe will behave the way you have behaved towards your own child. So am asking again if there is something that I don't know that you are aware off?
Me: No
Lifuno: Nyakallo is your flesh and blood?
Me: yes
Lifuno: Than why are you doing this to her? Why do you make her feel like an outsider? Why are you here instead of there? Why do you make all your bad decisions towards her. Lerumo!!! Fix this, I don't know why you doing this and I don't even want to hear your excuse but fix it. Fix it before this is too late and you regret it for the rest of your life.
She took her bag and turned.
Lifuno: we staying at her house for the next few days until you figure yourself out. If bu Friday you haven't made progress, my lawyer will be in touch with you in regards to divorce.
I looked at her shocked and she looked right back at me.
Me: But....
Lifuno: No buts lerumo... fix this!!!
She turned and left me standing there and I sat down after pouring a glass of water.

The past few days have been so amazing. Having a person that so understanding and calm and loving in my life has been so refreshing. Her friendship and how she viewed things made me fall in love with her. Today we were going to Musa and Luyanda little brunch and she was excited to see the guy that saved her. I walked in the room to find her dress in a light blue shirt dress and light blue sneakers. She did her hair in a sleek ballet bun and looked amazing. Simple yet elegant and my mom was gushing on her.
Ma: I knew it would be perfect. So I called Chille to bring his collection in this size for you and he was excited.
Nyakallo: Thank you ma
Ma: its a pleasure.
Me: You look good.
She smiled shyly.
Me: Ready?
Nyakallo: Yeah am ready.
We walked out to the car with my mom grinning at the door.
Nyakallo: your is amazing.
Me: You just made her dream of wanting a girl come through.
Nyakallo laughed and we drove off heading over to Musa place. Got there it was lit all my friends and acquaintances were there and its was amazing.
Musa: she strikingly beautiful
Me: I know
Musa: And you head over heels with her
Me: I know
Musa: why haven't you made a move?
Me: I don't know and just like that my smile disappeared when Lucia Masuku walked in smiling and looking like a hot mess.
Musa: holy shit!!! Who invited her?

Everything was well and the ladies were smiling and laughing when all of a sudden the room got tense as a beautiful lady walked in looking like a million buck. She walked straight to Hlelo and the guys hugging them.
Luyanda: Who invited her?
Everyone was mumbling something when Hlelo turned and looked at me with fear in his eyes. What is going on?.....
