Green and purple lights flashed over Steely's body from head to toe. Her dress was stuck to the top of her thighs with sweat and the alcohol made her fuzzy. Phoenix was smushed up next to her, the amount of people on the dance floor made it hard for them to have any elbow room and the dance floor was quite small in this bar.The boys watched them closely ready to step in at any time. Bradley and Neil were sitting in a wooden booth with comfortable cushions. The bar had a theme of rock and roll and Steely with her tight blue dress and striking red lips fit right in.
Phoenix wrapped her had around Steely's hip and pulled her in closer "Wanna get another drink?" her voice was loud in Steely's ear. The brunette nodded harshly and the two girls strutted over to the bar.
As they stood at the bar waiting for a drink they kept dancing, the song compelling them to move. With a drink in hand the danced their way over to the booth where Bradley and Neil sat.
"You look like a pig on a hot dog roaster right now," Neil said poking fun at Steely's sweaty appearance.
"Yeah? and this pig will get more girls tonight than you will in your whole life," She reached up and snapped open her hair clip to let her hair fall down to the bottom of her back. Curls slick with sweat painted her forehead.
"I bet I can kiss someone before you can," Omaha challenged pushing himself up from the booth.
Steely's face twisted into a wicked smirk and she sloshed back the rest of her drink. The bottom of her heels left the ground as she leaned closer to Omaha, "Bets on shit-ass ," their hands met together in a clap and Neil started walking away before Steely called him back.
"You might want to stick around for this one."
By this time everyone had stood up and Bradley leaned back against the table with both hands shoved in his pockets. Steely spun on her heel and moved herself to stand between his legs. He looked down at her eyes wide with curiosity.
"Be a doll and kiss me so I can prove to Neil that I get more ass than he does."
Bradley swallowed thickly not saying one word back. She waited patiently before his lips started moving.
"I don't know if that's a good idea Sunshine," she huffed out a breath and pouted her lips. Giving him total puppy dog eyes.
"Please Bradshaw you'll break my little heart if you say no."
"You have a heart the size of your brain...theory says you're still trying to find it," Neil piped in so Steely flipped her middle finger up at him, eyes never leaving Bradley.
"Are you sure?" the boy in question asked being oh so gentlemanly.
"I wouldn't be standing between your legs if I wasn't sure."
He swallowed thickly one more time before cupping her small face into his hands. He smoothed his thumb down the side of her neck while tossing a clump of hair over her shoulder. Steely reached up and grabbed the hair at the nape of his neck and pushed his head closer to hers.
His nose brushed against hers before she got impatient and snapped his head down to meet her lips. Steely's cheeks flushed hot when they finally touched and she couldn't get enough of the feeling. He tasted like beer and lime and she would be the first to admit she loved it.
They stayed that way, lips rolling over each other, before she pulled back and tapped him on the chest with her palm. Her lipstick was smudged and slightly staining his lips turning them a gorgeous cherry red. Steely smiled brightly up at him before stepping out of his hold and towards Neil.
