Dealing With Hawkins

Chapter 10

Kunot noo akong nag lakad papalapit sa elevator, sobrang naiinis ako sa nangyari ngayong gabi, nag dress pa ako, nag make up pa ako and I did my best to be perfect tonight but it turns out na lahat ng restaurants ay hindi available.

I was just about to go inside the elevator when I saw the woman, I mean iyong babae na may range rover and the one that ruined our date. 

I am so sure that the woman is wearing a black long sleeves and she's wearing a grey neck tie too.

Agad akong bumalik papalabas sa lounge papunta sa parking lot, kahit pa naka heels ako I am so eager to know kung sino siya, dahil mayroon na akong hula kung sino ba.

Nang makalapit ako ng kunti the woman is talking to someone on her phone, so I waited for her and I just want to ask her why she did that.  

Nang nag good bye siya sa kausap niya ay humarap siya to move forward but she looked shocked when she saw me, nagulat din ako ng kunti because I know who she is. 

"What have you done?". Asar na tanong ko sa kaniya at tumalikod para umalis na. Wala ako sa mood na kumausap ng tao, pumunta lang ako dito to make sure na siya nga ang nanira sa date namin. 

"Wait Miss Katerinà-". Nag lalakad ako at ramdam ko na bumubuntot siya saakin. 

"Please talk to me, look it was all coincidence!". Mahinang sigaw niya saakin. Humarap ako at agad siyang nag stop, muntik pa kaming mag bungguan. 

"Then why Sage?! Bakit sa lahat ng pinuntahan naming places nandoon ang mga body guards mo! At first I thought nagkataon lang na may sobrang yaman ang nag re-rent sa mga lugar! Pero kahit saan kami mag punta nandoon ang mga rover mo, paano kung nakita ka ng Principal. He was so angry at you!". Mahinang sigaw ko din sa kaniya.

Naiinis ako sa kaniya, but the way she's staring at me parang nakaka - konsensya damn it. Bakit ko ba sinisigawan ang student ko?

Hindi dapat.

But then again! She did something stupid and I hate her for ruining my entire night with Edgar. 

"Let me explain". Those bright -ish emerald eyes can make me weak in just a second.

"Explain what? If you already ruined the night? I don't want to yell at you please go home, rest and be ready for tomorrow's field trip". Tumalikod na ako at nag lakad papalayo sa kaniya, pero ramdam ko parin na nakabuntot siya. 

"Come with me". She flatly states. Kumunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya.

"Please. You're wearing a beautiful and perfect dress, you should come and use that beauty of yours, with me. I waited for you tonight". She said with her raspy but soft voice.

May ganun ba? Raspy but soft? O baka may mali na sa pandinig ko. 

"I can't. You are my student. It's good for you to go home, rest and do whatever you want, just don't make me come with you. It's inappropriate". Sabi ko sa kaniya at tumalikod na ulit.

But she blocked my way at hinarang pa niya ang mahaba niyang kamay para hindi ako makadaan. 

"I will stay here for as long as I want until you say yes to me.". She whispered. She's too tall for me,  naka heels na ako pero tapat lang ng height ko ang ilong niya, and she smells like a sweet blueberry.

Hindi magaspang sa pang amoy, unlike Edgar, masakit sa ilong ang amoy ng kaniyang perfume. 

"What are you doing? What is this Sage? First you ruin-".

"I know I know, I ruined your night so here I am, make it up to you. I will tell you my reason why I rented eight places just to stop you both". I scratch my nape..
