"People can know your strengths, your weaknesses and your fears but they can never know what it is you're feeling. As long as you master your emotions there will be none who can defeat you." - Ashborne, a great and wise king, and an even better warrior.

It was an average, sunny day in the world of Xylon. Xylon, a world strikingly similar to earth but with one small but very impact full difference, Magic.
This was a world where knights and magic existed and had been incorporated into daily life. This world, similar to earth had a few continents. On the continent of Flouron, there lies a kingdom called Eden.
Here in the palace, where the royal family lives, we see the queen about to give birth. A few minutes passed and after what felt like an eternity the queen held her son for the first time. She named her son Samael. Samael is in fact Ashborne but in this dimension. He was not any different from the rest of the children.
The difference came to be clear after Samael reached the age of 6. He displayed exceptional talent with the blade surpassing most of his masters by the time he reached the age of 10. That was when he expressed his interest in magic. Being the genius that he was by the age of 16 he had already mastered the principles of magic and was working on his mana capacity. However the day after he turned 18 a change occurred in him. One day he received a letter that seemed to have just popped into existance and this put him on gaurd. As he could feel a trace of divinity from this letter. Divinity, a aura that is possessed by Gods or by divine level individuals. While Samael was strong he was no where near that level. However very soon he calmed himself, his reasoning was that if a divine level expert wanted him dead as he was now he'd be dead. So, although cautious, he opened the letter. It was a normal letter with a small pill that came along with it. Intrigued he started reading the letter, the more he read the more he remembered. At the end of the letter it was said that in order to reinstate all his memories he needed to take the pill. So he did it and the next morning his memories from his past life resurfaced along with his instincts.
Instincts that had been honed through multiple battles. 'Oh boy.. this body of mine is not anywhere close to what I was used to.' said Samael. He continued,' If I wish to become stronger then I must train harder than ever before. But to do that I need to leave this place.. I wonder if my parents would allow me to become a knight.. I certainly hope they do.' with this thought in mind he went to what would perhaps be the greatest challenge of his life, convincing his mother.
Entering his mother's chamber he realised she wasn't the only one there, his father was there as well. He was naturally surprised. Seeing him enter his father said,'Ah. You're here. That's good.' sighs a bit. Immediately, however, his expression became solemn, something he'd developed through countless years of leading the nation. He continued,'My son. It has always been our tradition that the successors to the throne have gone out on adventures to temper there mind, soul and body. As such you will have to do the same as well.' Samael stood there dumbfounded as he'd believed that this would be the hardest part of his plan to grow stronger. With their approval he began his preparations.

Nobody knew that at this moment history was being made for an entity which the entire world would come to fear and respect was about to begin his path towards strength. This entity is Samael, or should I say.... Ashborne?
