Chapter 4

Zoe's POV.
"Can you imagine we have a debt of 5 million dollars that we need to pay them in the next two months.!"
"what the fuck!,and where on earth will you get that money from!"
"I don't know babes, I guess I'll have to sell my car and move ou-"
"No you are not doing that, that is your dream and let Mr Phillips deal with his own shit!" Tanya shouted from the other end of the line. She is the best thing I have in this life, she always had my back and I got hers. She is a doctor, and a very good doctor. I walked towards the exit and headed towards my car. it was late in the evening and the building was silent and dark. I got in my car and shoot!. A flat tire. Damn. at this hour?! really?!.
I popped my trunk and told Tanya I'll call her back and I needed to change my tire. Now if I told you I could feel somebody was watching me ,you would thing am crazy but I am not. I feel like someone is watching me from those dark corners of the building and it's creeping me out. I took the necessary materials and started my work.
"Need a hand?"
What the heck!? I turned around quickly with a wrench on my hand ready to hit them.
"whoa easy with that!"
"Tony right"?
he nodded
"what the heck? don't you ever sneak up on people like that .it's dangerous" I said while calming my heart.
"Did I scare you?"
"the hell you did" he chuckled.
He's friendly unlike Giovanni Perez.
"lemmi help you with that" he said and I nodded.i could use some extra hand especially at this time of the night.
My thoughts drifted off. How did we end up in this situation?
"hmm"
"Did I say that loud"?
" yes you did. but don't worry this situation will be over soon"
" yeah easy for you to say since we owe you money"I said.
"it's done, now you can go home safe"
"that was first, thank you "
" and Zo, don't mind Mr Perez he can be mean sometimes but he is a good guy" he patted me on my shoulder and left.
