Chapter 8.

TONY'S POV.
We sat around a huge table in one of our casinos. we were dealing with the Ivankov mafias face to face.
"Why did you mess up with our shipments?" I asked a guy who I presume was their leader. Clifford is the name , I guess.
No answer.
"Why the hell did you mess up with our shipments!" I yelled and this time I got an answer.
" Easy Tony, we want you to pay us back."
"pay you back? we paid you a year ago. what the hell is this coming from?"
I looked at Perez and Leo and they were attentive. At times Perez would handle this situations but he seems kind of off tonight.

"You are going to double the amount, we are not contented with what you gave us" He said.
Leo laughed "more like you are double crossing us! This is not going to happen we paid you and that's it!"
The Ivankov guy(Clifford) stood up and drew his gun and simultaneously the three of us stood and Perez spoke as the boss he his.
"listen up Clifford, next time you pull out your guns on us, I'll be the first one to blow your brains out. Am I clear?" no answer.
" Do I make my self clear!?"he yelled commanding everybody's attention.
"okay okay...Boss"  he said with distaste.
"Good. we owe you no money and you are going to give us back our shipments by tomorrow or else." And with that we are all walking towards our cars .
"Perez, you looked a bit off in there, what's wrong? it's Zoe isn't it?" I asked him.
"Yes it is her, I don't know if whether I did the right thing bringing her here, am,..am confused." He said
"To be honest, you did not do the right thing but on the other hand ,you have been single for decades, you have not been in a stable relationship, I started believing that you might be gay."Leo added then laughed.
Leo is right but this is Perez's issues and I am sure as hell ,he is going to deal with it.
i mean he is Giovanni Perez. what can possible defeat him.
