Chapter 23.

Giovanni Perez's pov

We arrived at one of our casinos later that night and planned briefly how we will ambush them.
They might be in our casino, our land but they don't know our lands well. We know every corner of this building. I don't know what he was thinking coming to provoke us at our own place after he almost killed us in Russia.
It's now or never.
If we die tonight, I don't really care, but I do care for Zoe and my brothers Leo and Tony but at least we will die trying.
Before we headed inside , we talked briefly with our men and I called Tony and Leo aside.
"You be careful out there, I need you and most of all, we need each other, I love you , and I'll do anything to protect you guys. okay?"
I told them they nodded and hugged me.
"We will keep you safe, for Zoe. She needs you more than us." Tony said and Leo agreed.

At the Casino.
Clifford.

"Perez has a beautiful girl, her name is Zoo? Zi? what was her name uumm, Zoe right."
"So what are we going to do with her, we can have her work at our sex clubs" Nikolai one of my men said.
"No, she will not work in a sex club, I want her to be mine, I want her to be my wife, I want to take her away from Perez. I want to hit him where it hurts the most." I said and laughed at the idea. "He will not know what hit him."

After a few minutes of playing , my men alerted me that Giovanni and his men were here and they have started attacking our men.
How did they know we were here?
Being in one of his casinos was my idea because it will be the last place they searched.

Gio's Pov.
We entered the hotel and we opened fire. shots filled the air , men shouting to take cover but this time we out did them.
I walked inside the casino full of rage and anger.
I shot his men and I saw him escape through the back door.
This time, you are not escaping me Clifford.
I caught up with him before he went far because there was nowhere to escape to. I shot one of his legs "That's for my shipments!" I shouted
He fell and started shouting in pain.
I shot him again, aiming at his other leg. "That's for almost killing us , my brothers and my men!" I yelled.
He had nowhere to escape to.
My men were out there and I am sure as hell that Leo and Tony are doing what they are best at out there.

"Clifford!" I shouted
"Do you know who I am?"
"yes." he said while he wriggled in pain.
"What's my fucking name?" I asked him walking towards him.
"Giovanni Perez." He answered.
"yes." And with that I put a bullet right through his brain, Blood splattered all over my shirt.
"That's for Zoe".
No one touches what's mine.
I spoke into my Bluetooth "Every one okay."
"yes you?" came Tony's voice
"let's meet in our car." I said.
We all sat in our car silently, no one wanting to break the silence.
I know today we have started a war with the Russians and they will do anything, anything to get back to us.
Sometimes you got to today what you got to do. And tonight we did what we had to do.
