Nova Attack Pt. 2

Aiden POV 

I hear the Headmistress on our communications. 

Sister Margaret: I have something very important to say. I'm sure you've heard any number of rumors. But the Ravensbourne Nucleotide contains the body of the woman who gave birth to all Pandora. This is the place where we've stored her Holy Remains in order to keep them safe. At this time, we don't know how the Nova were able to locate the Holy Remains or why they're after them. We're still researching her genetic mysteries ourselves. But handing her over to the Nova would assure the defeat of mankind. That possibility, is why the Spartan Program was created. 

I look down a bit at hearing that. 

Sister Margaret: I'm counting on all of you. 

Then, she cuts communication with us. 

Jace: That confirms it. 

Satellizer: I heard about it at the L. Bridget Mansion. 

Satella then notices Ganessa staring at her. 

Satellizer: What?

Ganessa: it's just that guarding such an important artifact is the perfect assignment for me since I am the highest ranked Second-Year. So I guess including the second ranked, a back water hick, and a Spartan is a bit superfluous. 

Rana: Who are you calling a backwater hick?

Jace: Ganessa. I beat you. And that fight with Satellizer? You won by technicality. 

Ganessa: I still won against Satellizer!

Jace: Right. 

Satellizer: But then, the top ranked Third-Years were assigned to this location as well. This is just another safety zone. We're no different than the other Second-years on stand by. The Third-years are protecting us while we stand guard here. That's all there is to it. 

Ganessa once again stares at Satellizer. 

Satellizer: What's your problem now?

Ganessa: I was wondering, what's the problem with you? I've never known you to be so talkative until today. 

Rana: I have to agree it is a bit unusual for you.

Ganessa: Is it possible that the situation has rattled that legendary nerve of yours? 

Satellizer: No... That's not it at all. 

She turn to look at me as I take out the ammo clip out my assault rifle, then put it back in. I look at her when I notice her staring. Which causes her to look away from me. 

Jace: Hm. 

Ganessa: Aren't you carrying too many guns? 

I look at her when she comments on my weaponry. 

Jace: Maybe. 

Ganessa: Wish I had good armor like that. 

She says looks at me from head to toe. 

Ganessa: I would be able to be the top student for years!

Jace: You don't want what I have. Trust me. 

Ganessa: What's that supposed to mean?

I don't answer her on that but instead look on my motion sensors. But nothing is appearing in a radius of 50 feet. Instead, a hole gets blasted into the ceiling and we all look. The corrupted Pandora we have to face is Cassie Lockheart. The one I met at East Genetics. Her arm blade extends and stabs Rana's shoulder into a wall. She looks back at us.
