"So are you guys like friends now?"
"Yes, Yujin."
"So you don't hate each other now?"
"No, Yujin."
"So are you fucking Jihoon now?"
"Yujin!" Danbi slammed her book shut turning to glare at the girl as Yoshi choked on his coffee. "What! I'm just saying that hug seemed a little personal last week" Yujin buried her head in the book in her hands.
[12:34 PM] JIHOON: today 4pm to the hill?
[12:34 PM] DANBI: i have class
[12:35 PM] JIHOON: don't go I'll be waiting for you
She sighed as she shut her phone off. Now this whole acting 'as if they have something going' thing was fun to mess around the other with but Danbi had to admit she had gotten closer to Jihoon. From all the times he pulled her away from her friend group during lunches and getting her coffee every morning.
It made everything feel so real that for a moment Danbi forgot the bet, at this point what she wanted the most was to get to know Jihoon better. She knew there was a reason why her heart would not stop beating faster when Jihoon hugged her or when he ruffled her hair.
"Look, we just set aside our differences and realized that we're actually compatible" Danbi said as Yujin narrowed her eyes, "Bullshit! You're in love with him!" She accused as Danbi rolled her eyes, pushing herself off the chair.
"You can continue being delusional but I have class to go to bye!" Danbi grabbed her books, blowing Yoshi and Yujin a kiss before walking into the isles to keep the book back.
Danbi could hear Yujin's curious yells and Yoshi telling her to be quiet since they were in a library. Danbi walked into one of the isles, pushing the book in its place before she walked out, moving the down the hallway between the numerous amount of isles.
The college's library was really big and Danbi wondered how people never got lost in it like she did a few months back. A hand pulled her into one of the isles causing her to yelp but before her back hit a shelf and she came face to face with Park Jihoon who caged her with his hands on the shelf behind her.
"You're so annoying" She grumbled pushing the boy away as he laughed, eyes turning into crescents. "I'm sorry your face was too funny" He leaned his back against the shelf in front of Danbi as she rolled her eyes.
"Haha so funny" She said in a monotonous voice as Jihoon smiled at her. "Excuse me?" A boy stood at the end of the isle, looking between Jihoon and Danbi as if asking for way since the two were blocking the way inside the isle.
"Oh sorry" Jihoon said as he smirked at Danbi pressing his body slightly against hers, the only thing keeping distance between them was the way Jihoon had firmly placed his hand near Danbi head on the shelf.
"You could've just moved to my side you jerk" She scoffed as he gave her a teasing smile, the boy passing from behind Jihoon and away from the scene embarrassed he had to witness that.
"Then how could your friends watching from a few steps away annoy you?" Jihoon whispered softly, Danbi was too taken back by the close proximity between them to process his words. But when she did, she whipped her head to the side only to see Yujin and Yoshi watching them with their mouth hung open.
"Y-you said you were leaving" Yujin breathed out as Danbi turned blushing red, "I can explain this" the latter gave an awkward smile as she pushed away Jihoon. "Can you?" Jihoon added as she turned to glare at him.
"I have to inform this to everyone!" Yoshi ran away as Yujin followed him, Danbi yelling out for them to stop. Jihoon just laughed in the side as Danbi turned around to glare at him.
"You idiot! You do realize she's going to tell your friends to right?" Danbi said as the smile dropped from Jihoon's face.

"You're an idiot."
"Not more than you are."
"I hope you fall off a cliff."
"I'll wish the same for you darling."
"You're unbearable."
"Seriously I'm the one who's unbearable here?"
The two whispered insults to each other unmercifully, yet the way Jihoon's arm casually lay on Danbi's shoulder and the two giving each other playful smiles contrasted the whispered words.
"Is this what we looked like in highschool?" Hyewon's voice cut through their useless banter, Jihoon and Danbi titled their heads to look at Hyunsuk and Hyewon. "Maybe a bit worse, but the vibe is same" Yedam commented, getting a tissue aimed at his head from Hyunsuk.
"How are you guys so cuddly with each other now? Are you guys-"
"No Yujin." Danbi cut in, knowing exactly well where the question was heading. "No, I want to hear the question." Jihoon pouted as Danbi rolled her eyes. "No, you don't." She glared at him as he shrugged.
"I kind of do." Danbi was suddenly reminded why she hated him so much. "What were you asking Yujin?" Jihoon gave a beaming smile to the girl.
"Are you guys fucking?" Yujin asked as Asahi choked on his drink, Danbi gave the girl a short glare. "Are we?" Jihoon cocked an eyebrow towards Danbi teasingly. "Fuck off" She muttered under her breath as she got up from her chair.
"I'll get the orders" She said as she walked over to the counter in a rush, "I'll join" Jihoon laughed following. "No, you'll stay and not get stabbed with a plastic straw" Danbi stomped away.
It was really refreshing for Jihoon to get on Danbi's nerves.
"So they're fucking?"
"Jaehyuk!"
