"You were oddly nice with Jihoon today" Yoshi laughed as the group stepped out of the cafe. Some of them already left since they had other plans. Junkyu, Yoshi, Yujin, and Asahi were the only ones left.

"Yeah I noticed it too" Yujin narrowed her eyes at Danbi, as if Danbi had done a sin. Danbi gave a look to Asahi who just shrugged smiling, "My therapist told me I should stop being so bothered with whatever Jihoon does and take it as a joke" Danbi said as Asahi stifled his giggle.

"Damn link me up, my hallucinations have been getting worse" Yujin muttered as Junkyu shot her a concerned look. "I'm kidding" Yujin laughed as Junkyu nodded in relief.

"I didn't know you go to a therapist?" Yoshi furrowed his eyebrows as Danbi laughed, "I'm sorry this is too funny, but it was Asahi" She said as all eyes turned to the boy skipping along the side.

"Come on how long was I supposed to sit and hear them fight? So I just told suck it up and take his pranks as jokes." Asahi shrugged as Yoshi hollered, throwing his arm around Asahi's shoulders.

"You know now that I think about it, you and Jihoon look good together if you ignore the fighting." Junkyu muttered as Danbi turned to glare at him. "Too fucking fast bro." She said as hollers of 'All Hail Asahi!' filled the group.

[5:45 PM] HYEWON: WHERE ARE YOU YOSHI IS GOING FERAL??

Danbi set her phone down as she looked up at Jihoon who was silently smiling down at her. Okay now have some trust in Danbi, she didn't want this. Classes just got over and she was supposed to meet up at Hyewon and Yujin's dorm for a movie night with the gang.

She just happened to bump into Jihoon and he just happened to over her to come with him to a cafe near by for some snacks and coffee. Danbi had skipped lunch too so she didn't mind going with him, it would help them not act like kids whenever they meet each other too.

She was sure the others would start the movie night without her so she was more worried about getting rid of her hunger.

"Why would you even skip lunch?" Jihoon asked softly sipping on his drink, looking at the girl. "Marketing was almost two hours, by the time I got out it was four and I had another submission" Danbi pushed her hair back as Jihoon smiled.

Short hair did look good on her. "You always push away everything for grades don't you?" He muttered as the waiter placed a plate of scones and chocolate filled croissants on the table. "Thank you" the two college students said as Danbi reached in for a scone.

"Hey I'm improving okay? I didn't do a sociology essay just to go out to the park that day" Danbi said, it wasn't much but it was something Danbi was proud of. Jihoon laughed at how content she seemed with skipping out on doing an essay to hang out.

"I remember you used to sit in class even during breaks just to study and once you fainted and Junkyu thought you died so he started crying" Jihoon laughed at the memory from junior year of high school. Danbi choked on her scone as she set it down on her plate, hiding her laugh behind her hands.

"I remember waking up and you were just standing on the side of clinic leaning against the wall as Junkyu sobbed into your shirt, you looked so disgusted" Danbi reached out for the glass of water.

"He got snot on my uniform!" Jihoon retorted as Danbi couldn't help but laugh louder, bringing the stares of some other customers on her but neither of the two minded it. Jihoon couldn't help but let a wide smile plaster on his face as Danbi laughed, her eyes crinkling into crescents.

Was it because he was just happy or maybe it was because he never realized how pretty she was?

"I'm surprised you even picked me up and bought me to the clinic, I thought you would've let me just stay there on the floor" Danbi joked as Jihoon shot her a glare, "You were Ms. Kim's favorite, she was practically yelling at me to take you to the clinic because I was the strongest in class" He shook his head laughing as Danbi smiled.

"I kind of miss high school. At that time there wasn't this sense of responsible back then like we have now. Moving out and shifting into the dorms, living on your own, trying to realize how jobs work and realizing you have to grow up and earn money to live. During high school it never got to me but now it just scares me" Danbi gave a nostalgic smile as Jihoon nodded along.

"We were treated like kids back then but now their pushing us to be adults, it was just too fast" He leaned back on his chair as Danbi looked up at him. "Considering you still carry a fake cockroach everywhere, I don't think you've grown up" Danbi glared at him as Jihoon gave a cocky smile.

Their conversation stopped after that, both of them sitting in comfortable silent. Danbi glanced out the glass window, the wind was softly blowing on the bushes and trees outside. It wasn't too hot, neither too cold. Danbi loved this kind of weather.

"Do you have somewhere you should be?" Jihoon asked as Danbi tore her eye away from the view outside to turn to look at him. "Not really" She lied, she could always send Hyewon a message that something came up, right?

But why was she doing this for Jihoon? It was a mystery but Danbi was yet to dwell on it further.

"Do you perhaps wanna go on a drive?" He softly asked, it was embarrassing to say the least. After years of having an unspoken rivalry with her, he was asking her to come on a drive with him? That also just days after they've newly become friends.

To Jihoon's surprise, Danbi gives him a smile. "I would love to" She said as she took one last bite of her scone, dusting her hands in the side to get rid of the powdered sugar.

At this very moment there was only one thing going on in her mind, all hail Asahi.
