"Salomé!" The person who swung door open was no other than Arthur Shelby. "What brings ya to our side so late?" Arthur pulled Salomé into a tight hug before pulling away.
Salomé looked over at Tommy for help but he just grabbed her hand and pushed past a confused Arthur.
Taking full view of the home, Salomé could see the whole Shelby family was here tonight. This wasn't the type of dinner night Salomé had envisioned.

"Did yer aunt send ya?" Arthur was the most curious on why Salomé was at their doorstep this late.
"No she didn't..." Salomé looked over at Tommy who stood beside her, she needed his help.
"Salomé has come for supper." That's was all Tommy said before he began leading her to the dinner table. A confused Arthur following close behind.
"Salomé is that you?" John eyes sparked seeing Salomé there. Surprised that she was there and that she was wearing a pretty dress.
Salomé eyes looked over at the woman beside John.
"Esme Shelby, John's wife." Esme introduced herself to Salomé, to Salomé's surprise Esma had pulled her into a warm embrace. Something she didn't know that the people of Small Heath did.

"Come sit deary, food getting cold." Salomé stared in wonder as she took her seat next to Tommy, seeing the food laid out for them and how all of Tommy's family was there. She had no idea this is what Tommy meant by "eating out". Salomé didn't even know they were coming out about their relationship to his family so fast.
Different dishes were passed around to each as everyone fixed their plates, light chatter amongst them.
"Tommy yer lucky to have a woman fixing her plate, Esme only fixes her's." John words had caught Salomé's attention.
Looking down she saw how John's words were true, out of reflex she was fixing Tommy's plate for him.
"Well I always saw my mama fixing my papa's plate, so this is normal to me." Salomé carefully sat Tommy's plate in front of him. "Didn't even know my hands got to fixing it." Salomé awkwardly laughed as she started to fix her own plate of food.
"This right here is a angel." Arthur said breaking that awkward feeling Salomé had.
"Lay off the whiskey until supper is over brother." Tommy commented making Arthur brush him off laughing.
"Not worried about yer words Tommy, I wanna hear from Salomé why she came here with you?" Salomé could feel all eyes on her even more now, her free hand went and bunched up the hem of her dress;habit of her's.

"I guess it is better to get the important things done first before we all eat." Polly sighs. "Salomé and Tommy." She looked over at the secret couple, giving them the look that it was their time to tell the rest of the Shelby family the truth.

"Salomé has came here for supper with me because we are together." Tommy saying that made Arthur choke on his drink.
"Like Tommy courting you?" John resting his elbows on the table leaned forward.
"Yes, yes he is." Salomé truthfully answered.
"So 'ow long has this been been happening under our noses?" John asked, he wasn't as amused by the situation as he didn't like family secrets and may have a small crush on the girl even though he is married.
"What does it matter, Tommy has gotten a woman to calm him down." Arthur said in a very excited tone, as he was more happy than upset his brother finally scooped up Salomé.
He believed that Salomé being the angel she is then it would help his younger brother.
"It's okay Arthur, I'm sure everyone would like to know." Salomé looked up at Tommy then back at the rest of them. "Since that night Inspector Campbell was searching all over Small Heath for Tommy." Salomé gladly remembered that night she spent with Tommy, oh how sweet it was.
"Here I was thinking Tommy was too blind to see that he had to scoop a girl like you." Arthur shook his head chuckling as he ate.
