Salomé sat at the bar with Louis, both chatting as they waited for Harry to come take their order. Tonight it was Salomé's &  turn to bring the refreshments for them, Louis had decided to help as he was the most gentlemen out of the band.

Harry had walked up to them.
"My brother in Digbeth just said the police are coming down from Deritend in numbers." Harry whispered to them, Salomé had became close with Harry since she started singing, learning about his wife and family from Ireland.
"What for?" Salomé asked, she had never been fond of coppers.
"Don't know but they're asking for Tommy Shelby by name." Harry whispered and just in time Tommy Shelby had appeared from the Garrison's doors.

Salomé could tell something was up, just by the look in his eye when both of their states connected for a split second.
"Who's gonna tell 'em?" Harry asked nervous as ever.
"I'll do it." Salomé still had a look of concern on her eyes as she looked at the snug closed door. "He's softer on me anyways." Salomé turned back to Harry. "Don't tell anyone I told you that." Harry mimick zipping his lips shut.
"Louis I'm gonna need you to bring these drinks back to the boys for, just tell 'em I'm helping Harry." Louis had a split second of hesitation but he nodded his head.
"Attention Salomé, Small Heath n'est pas comme Lafayette.(Be careful Salomé, Small Heath isn't like Lafayette.)" Salomé gave him a kind look and pecked his cheek.
"Harry hand me a whiskey bottle and a glass please." Harry quickly did so and Salomé was off to tell Tommy the information she had learned.

"What are your doing in 'ere?" I heard about your friend being buried, sorry to hear it so late. Salomé sat down the whiskey bottle and glass on the wooden table. "Let me pour you one in honor of your friend Danny. WhizzBang." Salomé poured Tommy a glass and oh did he feel slightly guilty.
Danny wasn't dead and that burial was where the guns use to be before they got dug up by inspector Campbell.
"I'm gonna 'ave to lie low for awhile." Tommy said after drinking the glass Salomé poured for him.
"Why?"
"This copper the one who ransacked the church, it's just me and him now." Salomé still wasn't convinced.
"When I get back I'm gonna tell ya somethings." Salomé looked at him confused.
"Harry say the coppers are already in Digbeth."
"Yeah I know." Tommy sighed.
"The police are already in the lane Tommy." Finn swung the door open.
Salomé knew this was a split second decision and she went with it.
"Come with me." Salomé dragged Tommy out of the snug.

Inspector Campbell entered the Garrison with a copper on his side. As he walked up to the bar he kept his eye on the room. Dragging his gun on the bar to catch all of the drinking patrons attention. "I'm looking for Thomas Shelby." The room stayed silent that you could hear a pen drop.

"Don't know who that is." Harry played dumb hoping that would help. "Do you Joannes?"
"Sorry never heard of him." Joannes smirked puffing out the smoke from his cigarette.
"You'll never find him." Finn had spoke up, inspector Campbell turned and looked at him walking up to him
"Go home." Finn obeyed and ran off.
Inspector Campbell grabbed his gun off the bar. "Perhaps I should ask that question again." Inspector Campbell looked at Harry. "On their knees." A copper forced Harry down in his knees and another grabbed Joannes and did the same. Inspector Campbell walked up to both men, he first pointed his gun at Harry's head. "Aye understand this barman, I don't care if you live or die." Inspector Campbell clicked his gun.
"He left." Harry had given in. "Don't know where he went though, I swear for Christ." Harry couldn't rat out Salomé, she was such a sweet innocent girl who didn't need to be caught up in this.
"I saw him run out the back." Joannes spoke with fear evident in his voice. Inspector Campbell turned his gun to him.
"I think he went to the old barmaid's place." Inspector Campbell turned around with fury, the coppers let go of Harry and Joannes. "Like the kid said, though you'll never find him." Joannes chuckled earning him to get hit with the butt of Inspector Campbell's gun.
Inspector Campbell didn't say anything else and just stormed out of The Garrison with the coppers trailing behind him.

"You can stay here for the night." Salomé lit up some candles in her neighbor Mr. DuBois abandoned home.
Salomé felt it was best to bring Tommy here as this was the only place she knew and the only place to be least expected for Tommy Shelby to be hiding.
Salomé pulled off the sheets on the furniture in the tea room then she went to the guest bedroom.
It was dusty but good enough for Tommy to sleep in for the night, just needed new bedding.
Salomé walked back into the tea room.
"I'll get you new bedding then you'll be able to rest for the night."
"No need, I don't sleep as it is." Salomé stopped in her tracks and turned & looked at Tommy.
"The war." Tommy looked up at Salomé.
"What do you know about the war?" Tommy put his hands in pockets.
"I know men get night terrors from the horror's they seen." Salomé said in a matter-of-fact tone. "I use to get night terrors but they've gone now." Salomé quickly said before walking to the kitchen.
Tommy stood there in the tea room for a minute thinking about the last part Salomé said, she was too young to go fight in the war so why did she have night terrors.
Tommy walked into the kitchen to see Salomé checking around in the cabinets.
"Ain't much food in here unless you include the wine which was left, I'll go get you some food." Salomé was about to leave but Tommy grabbed her arm, stopping her.
"No need for all this, I'll be gone as soon as the sun rise." Salomé made eye contact with Tommy trying to see if she should still get him some food.
"Just slow down."
"I won't get you some food then but I do need to get back, don't wanna raise suspicions." Tommy let go of Salomé creating space between the two. "I'll be back soon, try to keep the candles away from the window." Tommy didn't respond but Salomé knew it was a silent agreement. Tommy didn't know Salomé was lying about not feeding him. Salomé knew Tommy only survived off Whiskey, tobacco, and small bites of whatever meal his Aunt Polly made.
It was the way her momma raised her, everyone got to eat.

Salomé closed the space between the two, she stood on her tip toes and pecked Tommy's cheek.
"Don't worry, nobody knows your here I can feel how tense your body is." Salomé quickly left after doing that.
Tommy stood there in the kitchen staring at the door, his cheek tingled from where Salomé's soft lips were.

Salomé entered her home trying to not be suspicious, her papa, uncle, and aunt were inside the tea room chatting away while listening to the radio.
"Je suis à la maison!" Salomé announced her presence as she walked into the tea room.
"Salomé cherie what are doing home so early?" Aunt Beatrice sat beside Uncle Pierre with a wine glass in her hand.
"Came home early since I wasn't feeling well." Salomé didn't know if she should tell her family about what happened back at the Garrison.
"What's the matter Salomé?" Salomé Papa had a concern look on his face.
"Oh just a slight headache, didn't sleep well last night." Salomé held her head faking a grimace.
Her Papa was worried that the headache had came from Salomé crying herself to sleep again.
"Clara snores like papa." Aunt Beatrice and Uncle Pierre laughs.
"Clara snores like her papa too." Aunt Beatrice gave a cheeky smile as she sipped her tea.
"Well...I'm going to take my dinner upstairs, is Clara home?"
"Sorry cherie, she called and said she won't be home tonight." Salomé thanked God that Clara wouldn't be home tonight.
Now her plan of hiding Tommy Shelby would successfully go through.
