Salomé and Tommy were now in front of Watery Lane, the Shelby territory. Salomé hadn't been here in days. The light were off in the Shelby home, Tommy didn't pay no mind and unlocked the door. "After you." Salomé kindly took that gesture and walked in first. She was now standing in the kitchen of the Shelby home, remembering she had been here when Inspector Campbell ravaged the Church. Tommy walked over to the double green door, unlocking it he walked through the closed betting den to his office. Salomé followed closely behind.
"It's in 'ere." Tommy opened his desk draw pulling out her pristine white gloves, setting them on top of his desk. "Thank you." Tommy handed them to her and she took them in her hands examining them, it had been cleaned. "You've cleaned them?" Tommy gave her look as he had never did the cleaning only his Aunt Polly did. A black star caught Salomé's attention's, it was scribbled in a log journal, the journal had been opened wide on Tommy's desk. That black star had peaked Salomé's interest and Tommy had noticed. "I didn't know you were Jewish." Salomé wasn't being completely honest when she said that, she only said that to get Tommy to talk about the black star. "I'm not Jewish." Tommy chuckled. "Black star what does that mean, if you don't me asking?" Tommy looked down at the new system Grace had created before she left. That black star he had created for a certain event. "Black star day is the day I take out a certain someone." Tommy made sure not give to much off, learning his lesson before. "No one knows this and I expect you not to tell." Salomé was great at keeping her mouth shut, being where she was from you learned that at an early age.
"I won't say anything but why would you tell me it's the day that you take out somebody, ain't you afraid I'll go tell the coppers?" Salomé looked up at him confused. Yes, she was being incredibly nosey for asking about it in the first place but she didn't expect Tommy to answer so truthfully to her.
Tommy scoffed and walked across the room to the mini bar, Salomé eyes followed his movement. "Salomé even if you wanted to tell the coppers nothing would happen, I have them on my payroll." "Not surprised you did say that you owned this town." Salomé looked down at her gloves faint smile on her face remembering that day, the start to Tommy Shelby intervening in her life. "I wasn't joking, do I look like a person that jokes." Salomé didn't need to answer that, Tommy's serious face answered it for her.
Salomé watched as Tommy went back behind his desk, he looked like a true boss someone who did own all of Birmingham.
