A quick message from the author
In the new world all forms of art is banned and possessing it is punishable by death. A person can be arrested for humming in public and imprisoned for whistling.
Unlike the other countries the U.S. went down kicking and screaming. They took almost seven years to fall; even when most of the citizens were eagerly accepting the new drug that made them easy to manipulate and control.
USSR^2 mistook the United States as easy prey. First by dropping two atomic bombs, and detonating the U.S.'s missiles by a world wide cyber attack, killing over half the population and then taking another 6% by slaughtering them in person. Women and children were the first ones to be collectively slaughtered and yet citizens still fought back.
Now 12 years after the original fall of the United States the country is war torn and in ruins but still fighting back. Rebels live in the western states in coordinated anarchy. There are hundreds of little clans who enjoy disturbing the peace, but three stand out. These three gangs are the Al Capone and Bugs Moran of the new world and take great pride in pissing off the Soviets. The Neon Angels, led by former president Nines Holloway- a better version of Ronald Reagan mixed with Winston Churchill, The Midnight Hands, led by Nolan Williams- a man who resembles much of FDR, and lastly but most certainly not least, Freedom's Fire, led by Rainor Baltazar- a man who commanded power itself and he knows how to use it.Our main character is a girl who goes by the name Lexington, she is a rebel and a good one too. She is kind and gentle but she can put up one hell of a fight. She doesn't need to rely on a man to do things for her. She's a warrior and an artist. This is her struggle against terrorism and her fight for family.
