Nova swam back to Atlantis.

As they neared the city, they heard a crowd of voices.

The citizens of Atlantis had gathered at the city entrance. The girl stood on a pile of crates with skulls all painted over.

She sushed the Atlanteans and when all was quiet, she spoke:

"My fellow Atlanteans, hear me out. I've been to the Morgen's lair and what I found broke my heart.

They are killing our friends. They are killing our parents. They are killing our children.

They are killing everyone we love. And we've let them.

Well I say no more.

I am done hiding from them in fright. I am done mourning my friends.

I am done waiting for the day I am next.

Fellow Atlanteans, join me in my fight. Help me kill them before they kill us.

Let's wipe them out."

The crowd cheered and the Atlanteans opened the boxes.

They took out harpoons, swords, knives, everything that could harm or kill and distributed it amongst the crowd.

Nova's eyes widened when they realized what was going on. They rushed to the girl.

"Please calm them down," Nova said, "We can resolve this without using violence."

"They have forsaken their chance at peace when they killed Mary. My sweet, sweet Mary..."

The girl's eyes darkened. "They will pay for this."

The girl grabbed a harpoon, held it high and said. "Let's go."

The Atlanteans followed her. Nova navigated their way through the crowd.

"They hurt your Mary. You want revenge. I get it, but more violence won't solve a thing. There's a better way to-"

"Their death is the only way."

"It will cost you your own life and that of all these people. Look around you.

You're still alive. You still have a choice. Do you think Mary wants you to d-?"

The girl's eyes darkened. "If I die, then at least we'll be together again."

The girl heightened her pace.

"One day," Nova begged, "Give me one day to find the Sorceress and if I fail, go ahead. Go start your war. But if I succeed, give peace a chance."

The girl stopped. She looked Nova in the eyes. "If you believe so much in that Sorceress of yours, go find her, but I'm gonna go fight those bastards anyway. And I don't care if you're with me or not."

The girl walked away and a crowd of Atlanteans swallowed Nova.

Nova clenched the locket hanging around their neck.

I must find the Sorceress.

They made their way out off the crowd.
