Divergent Soulmate

Chapter 6.

Four gives one last look longing look at Jupiter before turning his back on her since the bond between them is only just starting so Four turning his back on Jupiter causes her a lot of pain making their fragile bond even more fragile than before.

Sucking in a breath of air Jupiter tries to force the pain away while willing tears not to fall. 

Much to her dismay, Four hadn't even noticed the pain she is in. Jupiter isn't able to focus on what Four is saying but she is eventually forced to follow the group of transfers through a short hallway that comes to a metal spiral staircase, slowly the transfers start to descend the spiral staircase.

Jupiter's mind is so preoccupied that she is barely focusing on where she is walking that she doesn't notice that she is walking down the steps a couple of steps down Jupiter misses the step and falls down the rest of the stairs.

Everyone looks at Jupiter and then moves to the side to let Four past once Four reaches Jupiter he leans down and gives Jupiter a quick visual check her over before sticking his hand out to help Jupiter up.

Taking Four's hand Jupiter slowly stands up while trying to put as little weight on her right ankle as possible once Jupiter is standing up she decides to test how much weight she can put on her ankle as Jupiter gently leans her weight on her ankle when Jupiter does that she feels shooting pains in her right ankle.

This causes Jupiter to quickly take all her weight off her ankle as Jupiter does this she lets out a moan of pain, Four notices this and puts an arm around her shoulders so she can put all weight on him.

Slowly Jupiter leans on Four's shoulder which helps ease the pain Jupiter quickly remembers why she is in pain and that Four is the cause of her pain, this only angers Jupiter making her pull away from him and walking away on her bad ankle causing her to wince in pain with every step she takes.

Letting out a shallow breath Four continues the walking only this time he glances to his left every so often to make sure that his mate is okay but not really understanding why she pulled away from him before.

Further, into the hallways, the group goes all the transfers hear the echoes of shouting and laughing which makes Jupiter smile she slows down just enough that she is walking a few steps behind Four.

Jupiter watches as Four is moving and there are hints of a tattoo catching her eye this catches Jupiter's interest.

I wonder what the tattoo is Jupiter thinks.

Four slows down as the group is walking out of the hallway then he stops at the edge of a ledge to let the group take in the sight around them.

Four is curious about Jupiter's reaction to this place so he looks to his left only to notice she isn't standing there anymore. This makes Four heart rate increase making him go crazy, Four rapidly turns his head around searching for his mate. 

Looking to his right Four breathes a sigh of relief when he spots the familiar head of brown, blue, and purple hair staring out over the ledge.

 Looking down at her face Four notices that Jupiter has a massive smile on her face this causes Four to lets out a silent chuckle at Jupiter's reaction.

"This is the Pit... center of life here at dauntless" Four says staring at Jupiter.

Four leaves the group standing on the edge staring at the pit at first it is only Jupiter notices him leaving so she limps over to him to explain what happened earlier.

"Four. I'm sorry" Jupiter says as soon as she reaches his side.

"Why?" Four replies coldly.

"When you turned away from me earlier I felt a damning pain in my heart and when didn't stop until you wrapped your arm around my shoulders and that pissed me off so I pushed you off and I regret doing that so I am sorry" Jupiter whispers sadly.

"It's okay princess" Four whispers back.

Four quickly gives Jupiter a kiss on the top of her head the pair of them stand next to each other once Jupiter has built up enough confidence she slips her hand into Four's giant hand. Jupiter intertwines her fingers with Four's as she does Jupiter feels Four strong her hand with his thumb.

Eventually, everyone reached the two soulmates Four pulls his hand out of Jupiter and starts to walk on with Jupiter following a little behind leading the rest of the group of transfers down another hallway.

At the end of the hall is a massive sliding door that is open as Jupiter walks inside she notices that the room is filled with beds as the group of transfers file into the room Four turns to the group with a slightly evil smirk on his face.

"Your gonna be sleeping here for the next 10 weeks" Four announces.

"Boys or Girls?" Another sexy voice asks.

Jupiter shivers slightly at the sound of the voice then she turns her attention back to Four who is looking at her with jealous in his eyes.

"Both" Four instantly replies.

"That works" says the sexy voice.

"If you like this your going to love the bathroom" Four says with a slight smile on his face.

While the whole group looks slightly horrified and uncomfortable, Four ignores the looks and leads the group into the bathroom. Jupiter gasps slightly realizing that there is nothing there for privacy meaning that everyone is going everywhere and see everything Jupiter shudders at the thought.

Jupiter gives Four a glare which Four returns with a slight just smirk and a shrug of the shoulders. Jupiter rolls her eyes and looks around at everyone's reactions.

"You should feel right at home candor everything out in the open" Four says walking away from the group.

Jupiter follows after Four with a smile on her face Jupiter places one of her hands on Four's shoulder before standing on her tippy toes leaning in Jupiter whispers in Four's ear.

"You do realize that means everyone is going to see me naked right" Jupiter whispers playfully in Four's ear.

Four lets out a low growl grabbing Jupiter's hand off his shoulder in a possessive way janking her towards him, Four leans in and whispers in and whispers in Jupiter's ear.

"No one sees what's mine" Four mutters in a possessive voice.

Jupiter smiles a little at the tone of Four's voice before she can say anything about it Jupiter feels Four's lips on her cheek causing her to blush.

"I'm not just yours. Four I have 7 other soulmates and I have met 2 of them today as well and one of them is a leader here" Jupiter says softly.

"I guess I can share you with your other soulmates but that is it no one else" Four whispers.

"Good because I don't want to lose you" Jupiter says with her voice full of emotion.

Jupiter stands on her tiptoes and gives Four a quick kiss on his cheek which makes Four close his eyes in bliss for a second as Jupiter pulls away Four feels the cold air brush against where Jupiter's lips were.

Four keeps hold of Jupiter's hand for a few more seconds before letting go of Jupiter's feminine hand Four takes a few small steps back away from Jupiter and then he speaks in a low manly tone to Jupiter.

"I'll see you at dinner" Four says.

Before Jupiter can respond Four turns and walks away from her leaving Jupiter standing in the middle of her new bedroom as Four is walking out of the initiates' sleeping quarters he realizes that he has finally found his mate, not knowing what to do until dinner Four decides heads back to intelligence with a massive grin on his face.

Jupiter watches as Four walks away from her and out of the barracks before turning and looking at the rest of the transfers who are still looking at the bathroom in horror.

Oh boy, this is going to be interesting Jupiter thinks looking away from the transfers and staring around the room.
