Chapter 2: Snapped.

Giyu closed the Soji door behind him before walking out of the Butterfly mansion before he could fully step out Shinobu poked him on the arm "Tomioka, where's your haori?" She asked, "I don't know, do you know where it is?" Giyu asked, "No, I could help you find it!" Shinobu lied, "Okay." Giyu agreed. 

Tengen heard this and ran towards Obanai and Sanemi. "Hey! She's got him!" Tengen announced the change of plans, "Shit!" Sanemi cussed he quickly grabbed the fake haori as Obanai grabbed a lighter (let's say that they were a thing before the actual date released (1955)) Tengen grabbed Obanai taking advantage of his smaller figure, he lifted him over his shoulder Sanemi following them out the door.

Shinobu saw Tengen zoom by with Sanemi and Obanai, she smiled maliciously as her plan worked even if she swapped Tengen and her place prior to the original idea. She looked at Giyu "Shouldn't we see what they're up to?" Shinobu requested, Giyu nodded in response not wanting to get her mad. Shinobu stepped out of the butterfly mansion Giyu following behind her, Shinobu quickly spotted the three near a fire she smiled to herself knowing that her plan was now in full swing. They began to walk towards the trio, Giyu smells the smoke and quickly runs back inside the butterfly mansion to get water. He came back quickly before running towards the smoke, Tengen saw him and held in a laugh, Giyu poured the water on the haori only to notice the crimson red color, "I-Is this my h-haori...?" Giyu asked, Tengen giggled before nodding, "T-That was..." Giyu's voice broke at the sight of "his" burned haori. "Do you know how much that means to ME?" Giyu asked as tears streamed down his face. "This was my last thing I have in memory of my older sister, Tsutako.. That crimson red side. Was hers....." Giyu cried.

Giyu looked at the other half which was no longer there, "T-The other side....was my friends....he's dead! And YOU guys took it away from me...! Is that funny to YOU?" Giyu asked as he smiled to himself, "T-Tomio-" Shinobu started, "SHUT IT." Giyu interrupted "Kochou....If I burned YOUR haori, what would your reaction be...?" Giyu giggled, "O-Of course I'd be upset...I-It's one of the o-only things I have from h-her..." Shinobu smiled weakly, "Thats EXATLY MY point!" Giyu laughed as tears streamed down his face. "Hahha! Thats just so funny to you guys right? Thats just so hilarious because YOU guys don't know what the fuck you're doing, right? To you it's funny to see others broken and hurt, right?" Giyu sobbed, they were silent they didn't know how to respond, Sanemi's heart sank, he never knew how much the haori meant to him, he thought it would be somewhat funny, he didn't know what to come up with, he wanted Giyu to forgive him, he fucked up and Sanemi knows all too well what he did was aggravating to Giyu. 

 "Tomioka-" Tengen started, "ENOUGH Uzui...I'm fed up with your behavior, you're always "I'm so flamboyant!" Like who lied to you, we all know you say that shit to hide your past, you're not sneaky." Giyu glared he was frustrated, "And you. Iguro, why don't we take off that mask, maybe kill Kaburamaru?" Giyu requested, "Don't you dare put your hands on him asshole!" Obanai insulted, Giyu wiped his tears away, "Oh? I'm the asshole? How funny! I don't see myself burning what you hold dear to yourself, do I? Have you ever seen me do such a thing?" Giyu asked, "I mean you're alive.." Obanai muttered under his breath, "Not cool Iguro!" Tengen stated, "OK we get it, let's just apologize and you know..." Sanemi stated Shinobu nodded, "Oh. Apologize? For what, ruining something I hold dear to me? What's that going to do? Make me somehow forgive you so discreetly? Thats funny!"Giyu laughed Shinobu stayed silent she didn't really know any of Giyu's past, so jumping to conclusions wouldn't really help with their current situation.

With a loud sigh Shinobu walked away, "Oh? Where are you headed Kochou?" Giyu asked, Shinobu froze at the sudden coldness in his voice, like he lost all of his emotions, his voice was colder than it was before, like he doesn't know what personality is "I-I'll be back..." Shinobu stated before she ran off into the butterfly mansion.

Shitnobu ran into her room to grab Giyu's haori, she didn't know he would react like that if she did, why would she do it? To see how far she could press him, how far she could go and get away with it? She thought it would be funny, but after seeing his reaction, she knew damn well she messed up. 

Shinobu grabbed his haori and quickly ran out of the mansion, she saw Giyu with multiple veins popping out on his forehead as Obanai pressed further on the situation, "Thats enough!" Shinobu yelled, Giyu quickly snapped his head in her direction, his eyes settled on his haori before more veins popped out of his forehead and even neck, "So you're telling me, that you had it this entire time? And didn't even BOTHER to tell ME?!" Giyu asked his voice getting higher, "I-I'm sorry Tomioka! We thought it would be funny to prank you...but....we clearly didn't see how you saw it..." Shinobu began to cry, "Your kidding? You're the one who set this up didn't you? And I didn't do anything yet here you are. Playing victim??" Giyu asked frustrated- no. Pissed, Shinobu quickly wiped her tears away, she slowly walked towards Giyu, she lifted her trembling hand and gave him his haori; Giyu took it before looking back at the four hashira's, "I'm disappointed in you. To pull such a prank isn't okay. I'm going to need space, leave me alone." Giyu made himself clear. He headed back towards his estate.

Giyu hastily opened his Soji door, slamming it behind him, he could finally let out all his anger. He went to his backyard where he had a tree he would let out ay built up frustration, and today. He had a lot of that, he quickly unsheathed his Nirichin Blade, before slicing up the tree, Giyu screamed in anger he didn't want to be seen by those whom pulled the prank, was he wrong for what he said to them, but really whose fault is it? Giyu knew what he said crossed the line, but so did their prank, he didn't know how to respond. But him seeing his haori like that set him off.

Before Giyu knew it, he had created what seemed like a million cuts was really a few thousand well that is if you add it all together. Giyu wiped the sweat off of his forehead and walked back into his estate, he grabbed a glass of water, chugging it before walking to the bathroom and splashing his face with cold water, 'Was I too rude? Should I have said such harsh words?' Giyu asked himself.

He walked to his room slipping off his Demon Slayer uniform and sliding on a black and red yukata.

He slowly slid under his futon before falling asleep.

And here's chapter 2 rewritten, the first time I had wrote this chapter it wasn't the best, and looking back at it I think I was high off of the lack of sleep I got during that week, but I hope you like this newer version better!
